Book 1 of the Maccabees: It was written in the Hebrew language, data from the date of 100 years before Christ, The name of the author of 1 Maccabees remains unknown. They were a great theologian of the time, dominating the scriptures and totally convinced of the justice of their cause. He had 5 children which are: Judas, Jonathan, Simon, John and Eleazar.
The book shows a respect for faith and piety. So much so, that he does not even dare to call God by his own name (Yahveh) or simply call him "Lord", preferring to mention him as "Heaven".
