Old Photos, Memories, Thoughts Have you ever opened the gallery of your phone, and saw your old photos, then suddenly, memories on why did I took those pictures flashed back? I admit, I collected pictures for future use in some online earning platforms. Back then, I was hooked to Rabadaba, a social media app which pays for postings, and likes given and received. However, the app wasn't sustained by its owners leading to its closure. I was hoping for a similar app, then I began to explore crypto-related websites where we can post pictures and articles. Thus, hoarding these photos in my phone became a big help. While looking on some old photos at my gallery, there I go, I remembered some bits regarding them. Of course, our memories might not be 100% accurate. So my thoughts on the photographs shared here would be what my memory serves me. So I'm gonna start now!

My brother used to collect these toy cars. It wasn't brought from the mall, rather, some gasoline stations had their promos in the past by which you can avail of these toy cars once you reached a certain amount of gas filled. There are actually more from his collections, and how I wish those are real cars so I can have one. It is my dream to have my own car so my wife and I can travel wherever we want. Cars are very useful now because of pandemic, and commuting would be avoided.

We used to buy this huge burger from Panaderia Antonio, a popular bake shop and restaurant in our province. I love the pattie because it's pure beef. This huge burger is good for 6 or even 8 persons. Of course, this was sliced for 6 persons, and it is enough to make our stomachs full. I was thinking lately to buy this burger but I'm unsure if the restaurant is still open. Besides, it will surely be expensive if we opted for delivery. What I remember from this picture is it was served on a Sunday, but I have to rush eating because I will attend our meetings in Dagupan City. Those days when I can freely travel because COVID-19 doesn't exist yet.

It's early morning, and my brother invited me to go to the beach with my nephew. It is my nephew's first time to enjoy the seawater because he's used to swimming pool. I became the photographer of my brother and his son. I took a picture of this guard house as a memory because it will be gone someday. Yes, this guard house isn't here anymore.

We used to go to San Carlos City to visit our deaf students being volunteers as teachers. Many of those deaf people in the city are not skillful in Filipino Sign Language, and we're teaching them too. Walking to the houses of those deaf individuals, we passed by this area of corn fields. As much as I want to share my pictures with friends, I decided not to do so for their own privacy.

My sister-in-law brought home these flowers with hopes that they might grow here. They were bought from Baguio City, and the vendors insisted these flowers will grow here at the lowlands. In just a week, the flowers and the plants withered. It's expected because they don't normally in hot areas.

I came to my brother's house for a visit. Took some shots at my sister's garden, and I was amazed on the beautiful flowers. There are actually more flowers but are unintentionally deleted from my phone.

We are volunteers in teaching deaf people in Area 1 Vocational Rehabilitation Center (AVRC), a vocational school for persons with disability. It is currently handled by DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development), and volunteers are currently welcome. Those plants above are in the garden of the school. Sadly, those plants are removed already. A new AVRC school was constructed few kilometers away from the original location.

I munched this can of biscuits alone. I paid a visit to an old friend who asked me to come by. Aside from these biscuits, she gave me a similar can with chocolates on it. I can't eat a whole can of biscuits anymore because I have to share it to my lovely wife. 😊 **That's all I can share for now. To my readers, why not take this as a challenge?
