Did anyone of you is having a hard time coming up with high-quality articles? Do you want to get better at composing? What's more, I do as well. So I took it upon myself to jot down my thoughts on what makes a good story, and I'll share them with you. Continue reading if you're interested.
For all of the papers I've read over the years, I've noticed that they all follow some kind of trend and share some variables or parameters. Taking all of this into account, I'll try to explain the parameters I use to determine whether or not an article is good and how it relates to the fundamental components of a written composition.
It's worth noting that when I say post, I'm referring to informal and free written documents like blogs, features, and other interesting publications.
Attractive Title
The first thing a reader sees is the word is your title of the article. Much of the time, the title will decide whether or not the article is read or simply missed by the viewer. A title that is appealing to the eye will almost always be clicked and opened. The title of your article should be exciting enough to pique the reader's interest while still being descriptive enough to give them an idea of what the article would be about.
If the innovative title you came up with has nothing to do with the subject of the post, it's all just a clickbait. And while it might be a smart way to get more views or shares, it isn't a good practice that will likely decrease the number of loyal readers. Your title must be attractive but with a mixed of honesty.
Your Introduction of the Article
Your title has gotten a lot of attention. What happens now that the readers have arrived at your house, you have the floor, and they are waiting for you to say your story?
Then you'll give your introduction. The first paragraph of your essay. This is the section where you will briefly clarify what the readers should expect and introduce the topic of your writing. This is your sales pitch to your readers. This is your chance to sell them on the article you wrote; you should promise them the the thing that they would expect because this is the point at which the reader can determine whether or not to continue reading or close the tab.
You can pique your readers' attention in four or five sentences. With your first few lines, you should try to captivate them. For their introductions, the majority of the papers I've read used some amusing or large and bold statements. Others use complexly phrased questions to begin their introductions. In this way, the reader is actively or unintentionally opening up to the topic and looking for answers inside the article itself. That's only one approach to pique your reader's interest and lead them to the following section.
Your Content of the Article
The majority of the terms will be contained in the body. This is the most important aspect of your essay. The reader has arrived at this page for a reason. This is the section where you defend your title and introduction. If this were a news story, this is where you'd find all of the facts and other relevant stuff. For added effect, pictures, videos, and other visual guides may be included.
Since the body will contain all of the details and facts, your role as a writer will be to organize them in a way that keeps the reader interested. You can either gradually create momentum or set out the truth with a consistent force. It might not be as inventive as your introduction, but it should never bore the reader to the point that they close the tab and ignore your work completely.
Your Conclusion for the Article
You drew in your audience, piqued their interest with your introduction, swayed them with the rest of the body, and now it's time to lay them to rest. The final words of your literary piece are your conclusion. It's possible that you'll want to tie it all up in it. You can either summarize everything in a paragraph or leave your readers with a thought-provoking passage that is both meaningful and memorable. It's the icing on the cake, so you can be as imaginative as you want with it. If your introduction served as your elevator pitch, your conclusion would persuade the reader that the article he or she just read was well worth their time. They should enjoy reading it.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you can find something useful or beneficial in this one. All of the above is just my opinion on how to write a good article; it's not a rule or anything, but you can use it as a starting point and build from there to develop your own distinct writing style. In any case, best of luck and keep writing!
see you next time🤗.
