Spain is building a museum at the bottom of the sea.

The museum will be the first underwater museum in Europe, off the coast of Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean.

Work is in progress to install 300 sculptures at a depth of 15 meters in the sea. Created by an artist named Jason The-Cares.

All of the statues are of the current inhabitants of Lanzarot. These sculptures are built on their daily activities.

That being said, the materials used to make this sculpture will do no harm to sea water or biodiversity.

It is claimed that these will last up to three hundred years under water.

If you want to see this fancy museum, you have to dive into the sea with a tube of oxygen on your back.

The Canary Islands, very close to the African mainland, are visited by millions of tourists throughout the year.

This museum on the sea floor will be a new attraction for them.
