Deepshikha School has a natural way to keep warm in winter and cool in hot days. Also downstairs there are some open rooms like caves for children to play. At present the school teaches dance from class to class ten as well as dance, song, acting, painting and English language. The Aga Khan Foundation selected Meti School for Best Architecture in 2006 and 18 construction workers of Deepshikha School were awarded.

How to go

Dinajpur can be reached by bus and train from Dhaka. From Gabtali and Kalyanpur in Dhaka, you can go to Dinajpur by Hanif, Shyamoli, Nabil, Bablu Safe Line, Meem Paribahan. The bus fare will be 800 to 1000 rupees. And from Kamalapur railway station you can go to Dinajpur by intercity express or Ekta Express train. The rent per class varies from 185 to 900 rupees. From Dinajpur city, you can take a local bus to Rudrapur in Biral Upazila to see Deepshikha School.
