If I say I have set foot on the path to heaven, people will naturally look at me with crooked eyes. Is it possible to go to heaven while alive? If heaven means beautiful, then I am talking about that heaven created by the Creator. Where people don't want to go back, or people want to spend their special moments together with their loved ones, they want to make it memorable. For example, the current cricket batting giant Virat Kohli has chosen this heavenly place to marry his beloved Anushka. Many may have guessed I was talking about a place. I'm talking about a region of Italy. Italy is divided into 20 regions. Tuscany is one of them.

20 regions of Italy;

If Italy is a kingdom of beauty, then Tuscany can be called the princess of that kingdom. Tuscany is the birthplace of the European Renaissance. People from all over the world flock to Tuscany for its history, heritage, civilization, culture and beauty. I also ran to see this amazing beauty. Today's article is about this three day travel experience.

I got off at the airport and took a taxi to the pre-arranged Airbnb home. I grew up in the city of Pisa. It is one of the cities in Tuscany. The question may come to the mind of the reader, why I did not get up in Florence, I got up in Pisa. My wish was to visit three places of interest. And Pisa is the place between these three places. The first day of my three-day trip took me to Pisa, the second day to Florence and the third day to Chinkue Terre. A lot of things, let's not know my experience of traveling to Tuscany.

Tower of Pisa;

The first day

The iconic Tower of Pisa (Leaning Minaret) was visible from the veranda of the house I stayed on at Airbnb. The hardest part was keeping my mind on it, coming so close and not yet touching the minaret, so I ran to the Piazza del Miracoli (Miracle Square). Upon entering, the La Lupa Capitolina sculpture caught my eye. In the sculpture, two children are drinking the milk of a wolf. The two children are Romules and Remus. Rome, the capital of Italy, is named after Romulus. This history can be called another day. I slowly walked towards the Pisa Tower. This tower was built for the purpose of ringing bells. From the beginning of construction, the minaret gradually tilted to one side. Needless to say, the city of Pisa has a lot of infrastructure that is tilted to one side. This Pisa tower is tilted at an angle of 3.99 degrees. During World War II, the Germans used it as a watchtower.

A U.S. military official was so impressed by the minaret's artistic prowess and the beauty of the cathedral on the grounds that he forbade the army to attack. Thus, the World Heritage Site was saved from certain destruction during the Second World War. The Piazza del Meracli is home to the Pisa Tower, the Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistre and the Camposanto Monumental de Pisa. Pisa Cathedral is a remarkable example of Roman architecture.

Pisa Baptistre;

Pisa Baptistre was built as the second synagogue. It is the largest baptistery in Italy. Baptistery is an excellent example of the transition from romantic style to gothic style. De Pisa is the last building on the campus in the Camposanto Monument. Although it started construction as a cemetery, its plans were changed during construction. Now it is being used as a museum. Many types of paintings can be seen here. It's hard to see everything in one day, but you have to finish it in one day. Today is the only day allotted for touring the city of Pisa. Next to the river is another beautiful church called Santa Maria della Spina.

Piatsa del Cavalieri;

It's hard to cope with the time, the better I look. It is as if an artist has painted this city with the touch of his hand. The evening comes, I go back home with a satisfied body and a tired body. The next day I have to go to Florence in Michelangelo.

The second day

We took the train from Pisa at 8 in the morning and left in 1 hour at the Central Train Station in Florence. All the sights can be reached on foot from the train station. Florence is a city rich in civilization, art, literature, architecture and history, from which the European Renaissance began. In the fifteenth century the wealthy merchants of Florence competed to see who could donate. Through their contributions Florence became an important place in art, architecture, philosophy, literature, music, science and technology, politics, religion. Florence is the birthplace of the Italian national poet Dante.

Sculpture of the Italian national poet Dante;

Florence Nightingale was born here. One of the chapters of Leonardo da Vinci's life was spent in Florence. Florence is the birthplace of Michelangelo, one of the world famous sculptors, painters, architects, and Renaissance. The first stop on the tour was the world-famous Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore.

It is one of the most iconic installations in the world. The dazzling architectural style is bound to make anyone look good at first sight. This historic cathedral is a unique example of the engineering of the time, accomplishing the impossible for one and a half centuries. The Old Testament is engraved on the wall inside the cathedral. This place is crowded with thousands of visitors.

Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore;

Michelangelo was fascinated by the artwork and said it was the gateway to heaven. There are two more famous installations in this courtyard. One is the Baptist, the other is the Bell Tower. Didn't go inside the baptistery. Thousands of people were waiting to get inside the baptistery, so I didn't dare go inside anymore. But the puzzle of how the huge dome of this historic baptistery was built at that time still lingers in my head.

Florence Baptistre;

My next destination was the Galleria del Academia in Florence. I will come to Florence and not see the world famous David sculpture, it does not happen. Michelangelo's impeccable creation of David's sculpture can be found at the Galleria del Academia.

Like thousands of visitors, I stare at one of the greatest works of art of all time. There are many more wonderful works of art here. Although the hunger of the eyes and the mind was suppressed, the hunger of the stomach came to Piazza del Cinoria. It is a huge courtyard. On one side is the food restaurant, on the other side is the Palace Palatso Vaccio. Here the music is under the open sky. Serves meals at tables set outside the restaurant. I also sit at the table outside and order food. Italian pasta for lunch, followed by typical Florentine music. The two have a different feeling. It was as if I was in the Renaissance. And I'm waiting to see when Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci will come to this courtyard.

Since the time was short, I had to get up and see as much as I could. I went to see Plato Veccio and then to Ponti Veccio.

The bridge over the Arno River;

Thousands of visitors flock here to see this bridge. There are many souvenir and gold shops here. One of the specialties of this place is that the lovers come here and lock the key with the key and throw the key in the river. They believe that their love will last forever. There is so much to see in this Florence, but must return to Pisa. The next day we have to go to Chinkue Terre.

The third day

Chinkuye means five and terre means land. The five villages together are called Chinkue Terre. It takes 1 hour and 45 minutes by train from Pisa to Chinkue Terre. From Pisa you have to go to La Spezia and from there you have to buy a separate ticket to Chinkue Terre. This ticket allows you to travel from one village to another as many times as you like in a day. The sea on one side of the villages, the mountains on the other side. From one village to another the more beautiful. These five villages are collectively called National Parks, and the Chinkue Terre is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These five small villages in Montereso Al Marre, Vernatsa, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomazzio are in Chinkue Terre. First we took the train to the northernmost village of Montereso Al Marre. Murray means sea. Out of the five villages, most visitors come here to bathe in the sea, out of the five villages, there is a sand beach.

Montereso Al Murray;

The others are rocky beaches. Seeing the clear blue water, I went down to bathe in the sea. One looks different otherwise. From here many go up the hill to the next village Varnatsa. Due to lack of time, I took the train to Varnatsa in 5 minutes. This place is perfect for taking pictures. The houses here are painted in different colors. When you walk up the hill and see the village, you will think that an artist has just finished his painting with a brush stroke. The local zelato (ice cream) is very famous here. So I also tasted this district.

Varnatsa;

My next destination from Varnatsa was Cornitlia. Hundreds of vineyards and olive groves in this village. It is a small beautiful village on a hill by the sea. This village has a lot of pizza fame. So I came here and tasted that delicious pizza.

Riomazzio's turn to go around Cornitlia. I got the train after waiting for about 30 minutes. It is difficult to find a place to stand on the train in the crowd of visitors. Somehow Aslam Riomazzio stood up and left. If you look at the map, you will see that I have crossed the village of Manarola to Riomaggio, because I have heard from the locals before that it is very nice to see the sunset from Manarola.

Riomazzio

You can reach the top of this village by bus. One of its features is that it starts from the sea and ends at the top of the hill. Riomazzio is a village as beautiful as the picture. My next destination is Manorola. In my opinion, the most beautiful village in Chinkue Terre is Manorola. Bidhata seems to have created this beautiful village with his own hands. Wherever I look, my eyes are covered. I walk to the view point, from where the sunset can be seen.

The iconic image of Santorini in Greece, as well as the iconic image of Monrola in Chinkue Terre. In Santorini you will find a mixture of white and blue, here you will find a mixture of red, blue, yellow, white. Watching the sunset from here is really a different experience. It's time to return to dinner with fresh sea fish from Manorola. The mind kept saying, but the cruel reality brings me to Pisa. Early the next morning I left Pisa Airport for London. And that's how my Tuscany tour ended.

Man is indebted to this wonderful nature. So it is our duty to ensure that we do not become the cause of natural disasters.

Thanks
