The natural beauty of Bangladesh
Our beloved Bangladesh is the largest deltaic island in the world, proudly rising in the Gangetic basin across the vast waters of the Bay of Bengal. One hundred and forty seven thousand five hundred and seventy square kilometers of fertile sediment-rich sixth country occupies a unique place in the world in terms of diversity. Against the backdrop of the roar of the sea, the magnificent flow of innumerable rivers, the greenery of the land, the cultural uniqueness and the incomparable seasonal diversity, the incredible scene unfolds in a moment. So the poet unknowingly sings -
"You can't find such a country anywhere
She is the queen of all countries, my homeland. ”
Beach:
Cox's Bazar beach in Bangladesh is the longest beach in the world. Kuakata beach is also one of the most interesting beaches in the world. These two beaches are a unique sign of the natural diversity of Bangladesh. The majestic obsession of sunrise and sunset in the blue bosom of the Fenil Sea attracts both domestic and foreign tourists. The aesthetic beauty of these two places makes every person obsessed.
Rivers and haors:
Bangladesh is a riverine country. Numerous rivers including Padma, Meghna, Jamuna, Brahmaputra have spread across the country in the form of nets and its appearance has created an extraordinary amazement in diversity. Pankauri, Gangchil and many other birds are playing in the river and the colorful sailing boat is a sight to behold. The heart-mind creates an indescribable joy. When the bored sailor of the sailing boat sings again -
“Man majhi taare baitha ne-re.
I couldn't get out anymore. ”
Then, our heart also wants to get lost in the unknown. On the other hand, Chalanbil located in Pabna, Natore and Sirajganj and Hakaluki Haor in Sylhet region and many other haors have contributed to the environment and biodiversity of this country. So today they have been able to attract the attention of the international community in conserving the environment and biodiversity.
Broad plains:
Most of Bangladesh is a vast alluvial plain. In this fertile plain, greenery is visible. Looking at the green field, it seems like a huge sea of green. When the green of the crop is swaying in the gentle breeze, it seems that the green urmila is rushing to understand. On the horizon. And in such a wonderful moment, the poet suddenly sings -
“The wind blows in the paddy fields.
According to Damal's son.
Call them and they will come
I will call them. ”
Highlands:
The hilly region has enriched the natural diversity of Bangladesh. The region covers greater Mymensingh, Sylhet, Chittagong and the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The forests of Madhupur Garh in Mymensingh, Bhawal Garh in Gazipur and Lalmai Hills in Comilla are a source of immense beauty. Apart from this, the hilly areas of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, the foothills of the Garae hills and the lush green tea gardens of Sylhet are rich in biodiversity and natural beauty.
Poly Nature:
The country of the village is Bangladesh. Eighty percent of the people live in villages. The unique diversity of nature has enriched rural Bengal. The beauty of the village is unadulterated. As far as the eye can see, the green fields and the ceremonial cereals. In the trees along the sweet path. It is like a nest of peace in the surrounded six houses. People are fascinated by the beauty of water lilies or lotuses floating in the water of ponds, drains or beels. The melodious flute melody of the weary shepherd resounds in ten directions. Fascinated by this eye-catching beauty of eternal rural Bengal. The poet sang -
“Unobstructed field, skylight, kisses, then dust
Shade sunibir, nest of peace, six villages.
Pallab is the playground of the dense Amrakanan shepherd.
Stagnant abyssal lake Kalajal night cool affection. ”
Culture:
The rich culture of Bangladesh seems to have added a unique dimension to its beauty. Bengali New Year or Spring Festival has become an integral part of our culture. These are similar to contemporary nature in color, form and variety. As a result, they create a different and exciting atmosphere in the natural environment. In terms of formality, importance, and beauty, they can be compared to the Rio de Carnival in Brazil or the Dragon Bate Festival in Hong Kong. Apart from this, the diverse culture of different tribal groups living in the hilly and western parts of the country has enriched the beauty of the country.
Past, present and future of Ruposhi Bangla:
The extraordinary splendor of nature in Bangladesh once inaugurated it with the term 'Ruposhi Bangla'. But this term is largely questionable today. Once upon a time there was a field full of crops, full of paddy, full of fish in the pond. There was a smile on the face of the farmer in the field. Bhavaiya, Bhatiali songs were sung in the middle of the river. There were birds chirping in the trees. There was an air of peace everywhere. But today's beautiful Bengal is devastated by the onslaught of various natural calamities including droughts, floods, tidal surges and cyclones. Today, the farmer does not have a smile on his face, but a hand on his head. Today, there is no Bhavaiya, Bhatiali song in the middle voice, but the nightmare of uncertain future floats in the eyes. It is no longer possible to see when autumn, fall or spring will pass in this beautiful Bengal of conspiracy season by turning the pages of the calendar. The environment of this Bengal is facing disaster today. And so the existence of Ruposhi Bangla is also in crisis. If this situation continues, a day may soon come when our future generations will enjoy the incomparable beauty of beautiful Bengal in books as fairy tales.
