Arunachal Pradesh is a beautiful province like the picture. Arunachal Pradesh is one of the few provinces in India that attracts travel thirsty people. Ganga Lake

Ganga Lake is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Arunachal Pradesh for those who are thirsty for travel. To the locals it is known as Gakar Sinni. It is located just six kilometers from Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh.

Ganges Lake;

The lake is surrounded by a vast green forest, which is bound to make you feel good. The trees, orchids and ferns around the lake seem to have given youth to the beauty. The play of the leaves of the trees and the lurking of the sunlight in the water of the lake will take you to an imaginary world in an instant. Sweet Lake

Madhuri Lake is one of the 'must see' lakes in Tawang. The lake was born in 1950 as a result of an earthquake. Its real name is Sangaser Lake. However, the lake was renamed Madhuri after the shooting of the movie 'Koyla'. The lake is named after the heroine Madhuri Dixit.

The lake is managed by the Indian Army. April to October is the best time to visit here. In particular, the lake is covered in snow at the end of the year.

Lake of No Return

It is located in the Pansou area of the Nagas border town of Myanmar and on the Arunachal border of India. This area is home to the Tangs. The lake has become an attractive tourist spot due to the improvement in relations between India and Burma.

Lake of No Return;

The naming of the lake and the story behind it are common. The lake is said to have been used by elite forces for emergency landings during World War II. As a result, many planes and their crew sank in the lake.

It is said that this mysterious lake was discovered during the Second World War. At that time a road was built in the area. Work on this road began in 1923. That's when the lake was found. Word of its miraculous power soon spread. The troops sent there would disappear as soon as they got close to the lake. After the revelation of these haunting incidents, true and false stories about the place gradually spread among the people.

According to one story, Japanese soldiers returning from the war lost their way and came to the lake. Here they contracted malaria and drowned in the lake. These stories have also been repeated in Indian newspapers and Indian novels.

The lake is 1.4 km long and 0.8 km wide. It is located 2.5 km from Lido Road.

Due to its mysterious story and its fascinating beauty, the lake quickly became an attractive tourist destination. It is a potential tourist spot for Myanmar and India.

Pangkang Teng So Lake

The lake is named after the Pangkang tree. Located 17 km from the main city. It is also known as ‘Pt So Lake’. In summer, sapphires embrace the lake with absolute affection. And in winter it is covered with white snow. This lake was also born during the earthquake. The lake is awake with calm water in the chest of the pine forest. It is unusually beautiful to see the dead trees of the forest in its blue water. The lake is covered with snow in winter. The calm blue water, the chirping of the birds on the shores of the lake, the snow-capped mountains, the floating clouds - all in all a wonderful environment. It is also run by the Indian Army.

April to October is the perfect time to visit the lake. Because of its solitude, its temperature is quite low even at this time of summer. The lake is easily accessible by taxi from the city.

Nagula Lake

Nagula Lake;

It is located 30 km from Tawang city and only 3 km from Pangkang Teng So Lake. It snows almost all year round except April and May. Numerous Brahmin ducks will be seen around the lake. Being very close to the border, the presence of innumerable troops around it will be noticeable. The reflection of the snow-capped mountains in the water of the lake is amazing. Most of the time the lake is covered with snow. The best time to visit the lake is April-May and September-October. The gathering of guest birds in this lake is eye-catching.

Mehao Lake

Mehao Lake;

Natural Mehao Lake is located in the green forest, about 18 km from Rowing in Arunachal Pradesh. The lake covers an area of more than 4 square kilometers. The lake is rich in flora and fauna. The lake was created naturally by an earthquake on 15 August 1950. Later, due to its natural beauty, it gradually became a major tourist destination in rowing. Geologists have named it Oligotrophic Lake. Because there are no fish in this lake. Its clear water and huge number of wild smiles will enchant you instantly. There is an opportunity to go around the lake by boat. Moreover, trekking along the forest will bring another experience.
