If we’re talking about meetings, classes and events, well, of course, being late is a crime. However, what I want to share right now is about being late in other aspects.
Nowadays, I just feel like a lot of youth are taking their paces way too quickly. They want to mature, grow, learn, graduate, get a job, be an expert or become successful in the quickest way possible. Due to this, a lot of people are suffering from stress that they can’t keep up, they can’t contain information, can’t improve overnight or what some consider worst—they get delayed.
That’s why I hope that all of us can understand that every single one of us have our own paces in life. We get more troubled and bothered because we keep comparing ourselves to the improvements that others show. We stress ourselves for the simple fact that we can’t reach what they can; we can’t learn fast like they can; we can’t do what they can; or we can’t move forward like they can.
And let us stop this mentality. We are all different. We are all capable. Take some time to know and understand yourself more, to let it sink into you what you really want, to let it flow throughout your body what you really desire.
Being late doesn’t always make a difference. I think it’s fine if you are late sometimes, as long as you get there in your pace and time. As long as you enjoy what you are doing in the process instead of stressing yourself out, I think it’s fine.
It’s not about who gets to reach their goal fast, it’s about how you get there.
