The Umbrella

Dave is in love with Alice. Alice is in love with Dave. So, are they a couple?

            No. Almost everyone in school find it obvious that they like each other. However, the two of them refuse to even accept that they are in love with the other. How stupid is that? In addition, both of them are so sure that the other like them in some way and they are waiting for the other to confess to them first.

            And as a bystander, I find both of them tiring. I’m like—just get together already, you idiots.

            Now here we are on a stormy day just as everyone’s classes were over and the school was almost empty, I hear them talking in front of the main entrance when I was tying my shoes on the bench. Apparently, it looks like both of them are scheming some ways to share the same umbrella. And guess what? Both of them “allegedly” forgot their umbrellas.

            As far as I can see it, both of them just want the other to get their umbrella and share it but they both think that way so now it resulted to this.

            I scrunched my face. “Idiots.” But to be honest, I find them really cute, too. As I walked passed them, I witnessed them giggling to each other at their silliness. I just hope they become a couple soon and get this over with.
