We know ourselves better than anyone. We know our strengths and our weakness. We shouldn’t really allow other people to control us or change us just because they say so. However, sometimes, it gets out of hand. The pride of wanting to stand up for yourself because apparently “You know better” is starting to be a little too much.
We have to learn how to make our own adjustments for other people too. We should always keep in mind that the world doesn’t revolve around us. We are not the center of the universe. There will always come a time where we have to adjust ourselves depending on the environment that we are in. And I think this applies mostly on workplaces, travelling to another country and being with a different set of people. Let us not be entitled and learn to go with the flow.
