One of my favorite films is Mulan. I have been impressed with this film since it was shown on television in the form of a cartoon. Maybe because Mulan's tomboyish nature is similar to mine. This film is based on a Chinese legend, it is said that Mulan lived during the Northern Wei dynasty around 386-534 AD.

But actually, Mulan's tomboyish, brave, and chivalrous personality is the result of her father's character building. Indeed, his father, Fa Zhou, was a former imperial soldier. The relationship between father and daughter is very close. Mulan adores her father and absorbs every lesson from him. They love each other.

Because Mulan is a tomboy like her father, when other girls are matched, she avoids causing trouble. Mulan's rebellion angered the Matchmaker, who was tasked with matching girls. He curses Mulan so that she will not get a mate for the rest of her life.

Unlike the Matchmaker, Mulan's father reacts to his daughter's attitude calmly. He likened Mulan to a late blooming flower. Later, when the other flowers wither, Mulan becomes a flower that blooms beautifully. His father's words are like a very sincere prayer.

One day the kingdom was threatened with an attack by the Huns who were quite afraid because they brought a large army. The emperor ordered that every male be recruited to become a soldier and fight.

Mulan's father is sick, Mulan doesn't want her father to be sent. He then disguised himself as a man and became a soldier in his father's place. He joined under the leadership of captain Li Shang. Unfortunately, Mulan is not as strong as the male warriors. But he impressed others thanks to his ingenuity when tested captain Li Shang took an arrow from a high pole.

Mulan falls in love with the captain. Their relationship is quite familiar. Their collaboration made the emperor's army strong.

Long story short, the royal army managed to eradicate the army of the Huns. Mulan then admits her identity as a woman. Li Shang took him out of the army. Mulan is heartbroken and disappointed, she is forced to return home. But he warns that the Huns still exist.

Finally Li Shang realized his mistake. He then looks for Mulan. As his father prayed, Mulan then found happiness with her idol man.
