3. Expository Writing

Some teachers use the technique of not limiting their students to the usual introduction, a three paragraph body, and a conclusion. Sometimes, teachers would tell their students to write as many as paragraphs they like, as long as they were able to achieve what they need to portray and describe. It is indeed essential to use descriptive words that can effectively narrate the things that you are trying to say.
4. Persuasive Writing
Persuasive writing is a kind of nonfiction writing. The writer who writes this type of writing style needs to be careful in choosing what words to use, should be knowledgeable in developing logical arguments, and can make a cohesive summary. And in order to make the persuasive writing more compelling, you must be able to put in the two main components, namely the logic and emotional appeal.
Logic is the one that comes first. Because in order to convince people, you must be able to have a sound premise. Which means you must choose a topic and back it up with good logic. Then, work on sympathy. To persuade people, you must be able to reach them emotionally. It is not enough that your points make sense, you have to let them realize that you are one of them, in mind and in heart.
With this, it is essential to choose a topic close to your heart, something you are really passionate about in persuasive writing.
5. Argumentative Writing
It is usual to hear people say that persuasive writing is the same as argumentative writing, but no. These two types of writing style differ in a way that persuasive writing is more of getting a well-defended opinion while appealing emotionally. And an argumentative writing incorporates a more technical background, encompasses scientific studies, statistics, and quotes from experts. The author can also generate his own surveys and questionnaires.
In order to create an argumentative writing, you must be able to put in these elements:
Formal writing style, use a third-person point of view
Research facts in reliable resources
Create arguments that are predicated on those facts
Think of an overall claim to convince the reader
