Misogyny

This is an issue dealt for centuries, up until now.

Misogyny are mental attitudes that men (and even women) have that proposes hatred to womenhood is considered to be misogyny.

But Kate Manne believes that rather than taking a careful scrutiny to the life of the doer to spot misogyny, people should analyze what the action or practice does to women.

As she explained it, “Rather than conceptualizing misogyny from the point of view of the accused, at least implicitly, we might move to think of it instead from the point of view of its targets or victims. In other words, when it comes to misogyny, we can focus on the hostility women face in navigating the social world, rather than the hostility men (in the first instance) may or may not feel in their encounters with certain women” (Down Girl, 2017)

Patriarchal ideologies have formed social orders to the system, developing hateful practices to women.

Places with prevalent misogyny are with greater cases of brutality to women such as objectification, domestic violence, and rape. Women are viewed as objects or properties and even lower class citizens.

An example is usual victim blaming for rape cases. Women are the one shamed for being sexually abused and had to suffer the blame of not dressing appropriately or “allegedly seducing” the sexual predator. Without even a word of hatred to the raper, or maybe even worse; the criminal getting away of his crimes.

Sexism

Meanwhile, sexism is believing that one sex is superior to the other and holding on to the idea that men and women can do and what they cannot do; simply enclosing abilities or capacities to stereotypical ideas.

“Women should wear dresses and trousers for men”

Sexism inlolving women revolves in maintaining patriarchy, or male dominance, using ideological practices of people, system, collectives, and institutions that is mainy to oppress women and girls on the just because of their sex or gender.

Women are confined to the domestic sphere of nurturance and feelings, and can therefore not be successful leaders in politics, business industry, and academia according to that logic. While women are seen as being naturally fit for domestic work and are excellent at being caretakers, when compared to men's work, their positions are devalued or not respected at all.

The opposite is between women and men, with broadly different and complementary roles. Women are sadly believed to be the weaker sex and less competent than men, especially in the field of logic and logical thinking.
