Sajek Valley, Sajek is currently the most popular destination for travel thirsty people. Sajek, located in Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati district, is known as the largest union in Bangladesh. 1800 feet above sea level. Although Sajek is located in Rangamati district, it is very easy to travel to Sajek from Dighinala in Khagrachari due to geographical reasons. The distance from Khagrachhari district to Sajek is 60 km and from Dighinala is 40 km. If you want to go to Sajek, you must get permission from Baghaihat police and army camp.
What to see
Beautiful mountain ranges all around, a valley of clouds like white cotton will fascinate you. Sajak is such an amazing place where on the same day you can be amazed by the presence of three different forms of nature. The Kanlak hills are the main attraction for tourists visiting Sajek. The last village in the Sajek Valley, Kanlak Para, is inhabited by the Lusai people. The origin of the river Karnafuli can be seen from Kanlak Para in the Lusai hills of India. If you want, you can trek for two hours from Ruilui Para to see Kamalak Jharna. This beautiful waterfall is also known as Pidam Taisa Jharna or Sikam Taisa Jharna to many.

Sajak's form is not really comparable. Sajek is dressed in colorful outfits throughout the year. You can visit Sajak at any time of the year. In the rainy season, autumn and fall, cloud games are more common around Sajek. So this is the best time to visit Sajak.
Way to go to Sajak
Although Sajek is located in Rangamati district, it is very easy to travel to Sajek via Dighinala in Khagrachhari district. So first you have to come to Khagrachhari. If you want to go to Khagrachhari from Dhaka, you can take Saudia, Shyamoli, Shanti Paribahan, S Alam, Eagle etc. by bus. Non AC bus fare is 520 rupees. If you want to go by AC bus, you can go by BRTC and St. Martin transport for 600 rupees. The buses usually leave for Khagrachhari by 10 pm. Besides, Shanti Paribahan bus goes directly to Dighinala, fare is 560 rupees. In Dhaka, there are counters of these transports in different parts of the city including Gabtali and Kalabagan. If you want to go on holidays, it is better to buy a ticket in advance or you may have trouble getting a ticket.
The distance from Khagrachhari to Sajek is about 60 kilometers. From Shapla Chattar in Khagrachhari town, you can tour Sajek Valley with jeep / moon car reserve. The fare for two days including coming and going will be Rs 8,000-10,000. 12-15 people can go in one car. However, if there are less people, talking to another small group and sharing the car will cost less. If that is not possible then you can go to Sajek with CNG. Reserve rent will be 4000-5000 rupees. However, it is better not to travel by CNG as it is a hilly road.

Besides, you can go to Dighinala from Khagrachhari and from there you can go to Sajek. The distance from Khagrachhari to Dighinala is 23 kilometers. Dighinala bus fare from Khagrachhari is 45 rupees, motorcycle fare is 100 rupees per person. If you want, you can reserve a motorcycle and go around Sajek. Before fixing any car, talk about what to look for and what to do.
But you must keep in mind that the way you go, you have to reach Dighinala in 9 to 9:30 minutes. For the rest of the road safety from Dighinala you have to go to the army escort. Army escorts are available twice a day. Once at 9:30 in the morning, again at 2:30 in the morning. If you miss the morning escort you have to wait till the afternoon, and if you miss the afternoon escort you have to wait till the next day. You will not be allowed to go without escort. If you have time to reach Dighinala, you can visit Hajachhara Jharna.
On the way from Dighinala, you will reach Bagaihat, Machalang Bazar, then Ruilui Para. It will take two to three hours to reach Sajek from Khagrachhari city. It will be a memorable time for you to walk along the winding hills. Rows of hills and greenery will make you forget all the fatigue of the journey.
Travel from Chittagong to Sajek: You can go to Sajek from Chittagong via Khagrachhari or Dighinala. BRTC AC buses run 4 buses a day from Kadamtali in Chittagong at a fare of Tk. 200. Besides, Shanti Paribahan (fare Rs. 190) buses ply every 1 hour from Oxygen junction. It will take 4-5 hours to go to Khagrachhari by bus from Chittagong.
