Early childhood is a developmental stage that extends from 3 to 8 years of age. These early years are the most critical and critical to a child's overall development. The experiences a child has in this phase have a lasting effect on her resume. According to educators, children are born as a blank slate or "tabula rasa" (Locke's concept) and begin life neutrally. The child's mind is malleable enough that parents and immediate caregivers can shape it in any way. This is the phase in which basic physical and social development takes place and cognitive development begins. The child learns concepts of socialization, reasoning and friendship and gradually progresses to higher cognitive development. He has developed gross motor skills and fine motor excellence is on the way.

According to the evolutionary theorist, human life expectancy is divided into different stages of development, and each theorist has his own method of classification. Erick Erickson and Jean Piaget were the two most popular evolutionary theorists of human life. Erick Erickson identifies stages according to the emotional development of the child, according to his theory, early childhood falls into two of its stages 1) will (autonomy vs. shame and doubt 24 years) 2) purpose (initiative vs. guilt 45 years). While Piaget divides the life span into 3 stages of development according to cognitive, preoperational, concrete-operational and formal-operational development. He identified the preoperative period (27 years) as the early childhood stage.

If we study in depth any of the above or any other theorists, there is one thing in common that they all identify early childhood as a crucial phase in which to prepare a platform for future growth and overall development. This stage is like the foundation of a building, if the foundation is laid correctly, the building can withstand all the outrage, even the design of the building depends on the foundation. Likewise, the environment that we provide the child will have a great impact on the type of person they will be in the future. This is why most child psychologists and parenting counselors continue to suggest that parents provide their children with an exploratory environment in which they can learn and discover new things. The main reason for the expansion of the kindergarten market is the concept that "this is the phase where the child's grasping ability is at its peak. The child can learn as many skills / languages as exposed; The game path techniques are used "to teach these skills to children. To explain this phenomenon, we can look at our case, we often forget the work we have done in the last few days and we even have trouble remembering our graduation curriculum, but we can even recite our rhymes, alphabet and number songs with this movement We also call this technique of play (learning through songs, etc.), our kindergarten teachers used it at the best possible time, in the early childhood phase when our memory was at its peak. During this time we had learned all the materials through simple imitation and repetition of our teachers, parents, and our immediate environment. Even if a psychiatric problem or cognitive, developmental, and physical developmental delay is identified in early childhood, the chances of coping with it are greater than at any other stage of development. But it can also be the other way around, if a child is exposed to trauma / abuse at this stage, the sequelae are more serious and can have a very negative effect on their overall growth.

UNICEF also recognizes the need to provide a safe and healthy environment for children. In 2014, UNICEF officials and government colleagues participated in the Forum on Investing in Young Children and a panel discussion on Neuroscience and Early Childhood Development (ECD) (UNICEF). These were excellent opportunities to expand capacity and a promotional platform to increase investment in ECCE. The country office of India organized an IPR meeting in South Asia, in which 6 countries from South Asia came together to discuss ECD priorities and programs. The events gave a significant boost to the growing dynamism of DPI in the South Asia region (UNICEF). Even the main government programs of Lunch, Right to Education, Indradhanush Mission, etc., focus on providing a safe, healthy, nutritious and exploratory environment for children. At lunchtime, the government aims to provide all children with a high-quality, nutrient-rich meal and, through the right to education, efforts are made to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn. Both programs can care for children over the age of 67. But through Aaganwadi's special arrangements, the needs of young people, education through interesting resources, and nutritious and healthy food for their physical growth that were in their immediate environment were taken into account.

"Early childhood interventions have been shown to have long-term effects on future social adaptation and economic success and may even be passed on to future generations" (UNICEF), which means that the interventions we are doing today eliminate the background of our desired future. If we want a developed nation in the future, we must first provide our children with a safe, healthy and exploratory environment. If India is to advance as a nation, our government should focus more on the Early Childhood Development Program.
