2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami
The aforementioned Tsunami took place in 26, December 2004 with an epicenter off the Northern Sumatra, Indonesia.
The terrible disaster affected the Indian Ocean Coastlines and caused mostly economic damages of over Nine point Four (9.4) Billion USD dollars in value including Fishing companies but this is nothing compared to the saddening about of lives it costed; Two Hundred and Twenty Seven thousand, Eight hundred and Ninety-Eight (227,898).
May their souls rest in perfect peace. This was a sad day for the world and would never be forgotten in human history.
While this is a terrible event, there are more disasters worse than this happening on our planet we need to be aware of.
