1 day testing the new read.cash points system : pros and cons
If you are a frequent user of Read.cash, you have probably noticed the new points system they added on the 27th of april which means, in short, that you will be getting points for achieving different goals ( see here for more info). And today my points were changed to BCH for the first time . So it's time to do some analysis and discuss the pros and cons of this new feature . https://read.cash/@Read.Cash/the-point-system-6c2c20e2 ****pros:**** This new system will make it more fun and even more profitable than just getting BCH for only logging in everyday. It will prevent people from creating multiple accounts to have the daily cents from just logging in. This step will improve the platform and encourage the new and old users to be active and creative because they will get paid for their efforts. Getting points for making meaningful comments will encourage users to be more interactive with the posted articles and the writers in general. ****cons:**** The payments aren't that much (yet). for exemple my payment was arround 9 cents. But i know that it depends on the fund they have and also the platform is still in the very beginning of launching this feature and it's very early to judge the payment for now. All the points you earn will be changed in the end of the day to BCH automatically. i guess it woul be better if read.cash gives the user the option to decide when he wants to transform his points so he can accumulate points and transform it whenever he wants. In the end of this article, i can conclude that read.cash is doing a great job so far with making this platform a better place for both amateur and professional writers. Yeah will take a while to get the points and incentives just right. I am here for first day. And seems good. I don't like downvotes because of groups attacking people views they don't like. But I like a positive platform that rewards good creators and warns bad ones (not their content but abusing the system with bot posts and comments). I think BCH payment is fine. Lots of places to swap them. But choice is always a area for improvement.

Yeah, I also believe the user should be allowed to have control on when to convert his points. It would be a bummer if you earn a great amount of points one day but the fund was low that day so you get low return but just the next day someone comes in and drops big money on the fund.
exactly! or when you earn just few points one day , it won't bring you any profits after transforming them obviously. so accumuliting those few points will be better than transforming automatically. thanks for your openion!
Yeah! A very laudable development from read.cash. A sort of encouragement for genuine and dedicated users of read.cash. I strongly have the hope that the system will be getting better day in day out as the pitches are being fixed. Kudos to read.cash!

It's wroking great, I've received 0.35$ yesterday, It's not that much but is already something free, really nice.
yeah, we can't expect much in the beginning. considering the fact that the funds they have are limited. but it's all going on the right way i guess. also the amount you received isn't bad at all as a start! congratulations! :D

Indeed. Their new rules are making the platform a better place to enjoy writing and reading without affecting the profits that much.
The new point system is working fine, except for the spammers who are bastardizing the system. But this being taken care of by read.cash.

I am agreeing mostly of all you write in your article. The new point system is different but seem to be able to improve quality of the content on Read.cash, but it needed to give more value of the points writers. Your last suggestion is really interesting, allow user to decide when he wants to transform points (it may have some problem if all user decide to transform or not at the end of the day, because it will make impossible to have a temporary value points on morning).
yeah. Giving users more freedom to choose when to exchange the points will be great. We will see if Read.cash will do that or not. Thanks for your comment :D
It's reallu good that read.cash is really looking for changes that helps amateur and professional writers earn points. Like the short post.
