It’s the year 2020, the Earth seems like all hell breaks loose, and even then…

We can still be grateful that Dendi is all well and good to this very day. Of course, I am talking about Dendi playing competitively, even after a decade of Dota 2. While time may not favor Dendi in terms of success, we can rest assured that he’s trying his best.

A New Beginning

It’s team B8, after its hyped trailer, Dendi fans are very much anticipating the first Tea Eye winner’s comeback into competitive Dota 2. Yet, since it’s debut in January 2020, the team has not met much success, to say the least.

Instead, the only quantity that has been stacking up from B8 is their losing streak, which is now the record holder for the most losses in competitive games. Along with that, it’s the number of roster shuffles that the team has undergone over the past 8 months.

Speaking of their world record losing streak, it’s at a whopping 26-game losing streak, surpassing the previous record-holder, who had a mere 23-game losing streak since 2016. Needless to say, B8 has garnered quite the attention in the Dota 2 community, however, and most certainly not for good reasons.

Dendi and 4 others

As of today (to be exact, on June 6), Dendi’s team B8 released all of its original members. Since that date, B8 announced their new and revamped roster, consisting of Crystallis (from Navi), LastHero, 5up and Fishman. Frankly, they did manage to break their 26-game losing streak eventually with their latest roster.

However, it’s once again back to the reds in every game at the OMEGA League Europe Divine Division. After four series in the group stage, B8 has officially been eliminated from the tournament as they only have 1 won series and 3 losses.

Unfortunately, there really isn’t much to look at, in terms of the games. That’s because B8 did not even play with their complete active roster. During their first series against a somewhat unfamiliar team, Cyberium Seeds, B8 played with 2 stand-ins, replacing LastHero and Fishman. They lost that series in a relatively short period. However, they did manage to even the score after defeating 5Comrades, another amateur team.
