Lincoln's father, Thomas Lincoln, and mother, Nancy Hanks, were farmers by profession. In 1817, when Lincoln was just nine years old, news spread throughout South Indiana that his mother had died of a strange milk-borne disease. But later it was found out that the cow whose mother drank the milk had eaten a poisonous grass or tree which had poison in its milk and his mother died after drinking this milk. After the death of his mother, an honest mother came into his life. But Lincoln did not have a bad relationship with an honest mother like the traditional family, but the relationship was quite good. His stepmother was very supportive of Lincoln's studies, and Lincoln did not call her "stepmother" or "Sarah" but "mother." However, his relationship with his father was not good due to which he was not present at his father's funeral.

How was his education?

Lincoln was a self-taught man who spent most of his life studying on his own. In all, the duration of his formal education is only 18 months. He loved to read and read everything he felt he needed to know. For example, when he thought he would be a lawyer, he read the law himself. He has advocated even though he has no degree in law. In 1849 he fought a case in the Supreme Court and lost.

He served in the US House of Representatives from 1848-1849. In 1857, he joined the U.S. Republican Party in the U.S. Senate election and ran against Stephen Douglas, but lost the election. During this time the Lincoln Douglas controversy and the controversy over the Kansas-Nebraska law on slavery brought Lincoln to national prominence. Shortly after taking office as president, civil war broke out in the United States. Lincoln abolished slavery in the United States by signing the Declaration of Independence on January 1, 181. After being elected as a provincial legislator, he decided to become a lawyer and joined the Bar Council and began his career as a successful lawyer in 1837.

But Lincoln believed in God, and he also believed that what was written on his forehead would happen.

5. "The ballot is stronger than the bullet."

Abraham Lincoln's world-famous speech:

He delivered a speech in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in November, during the Civil War of 183. This speech is known as the famous Gettysburg speech in history. And one of the most famous in the political history of the world, this speech of only 2 minutes, 262 words.

“Eighty-seven years ago, our ancestors created a new nation in this subcontinent, inspired by the motto of liberation and dedicated to the promise that all people are equal.

Now we are embroiled in a terrible civil war, testing whether this nation, so rich and promising, or any other nation can endure it for so long. We are faced with a huge battlefield. We have dedicated a part of this field to the sleep of those who gave their lives for the survival of this nation. It is very reasonable and correct that we will do it.

However, at large, this land - we cannot dedicate - we cannot dedicate - we cannot sanctify. Brave people, living or dead, who fought here, sanctified this land, our weak power can add or subtract very little to it. The world may not remember a little of what we are saying here, but this land will never forget what they did.

Those of us who are here now, rather, must dedicate ourselves to the unfinished work that the people who have fought here have so generously offered. Rather, we must dedicate ourselves to the great cause that lies ahead - so that we may receive constant encouragement from those glorious martyrs in the cause for which they have sacrificed their lives - so that we may be firmly committed that the death of these martyrs will not go in vain. Gain new freedom under the Creator - and so that the government of the people, the government by the people, the government for the people, is not lost from the earth. " (Collected)

His famous letter:

He wrote a letter to his son's school teacher which became very famous. Part of that letter is highlighted below:

Honorable teacher,

Please, if you can, you will teach my son with your own hands and carefully teach him what he needs to know. Teach him that every enemy has a friend in the middle. He must know that not all people are fair, and not all are honest. Yet teach him that there is a hero in every bad man, a dedicated leader in every wicked politician.

If you can, teach him that it is better to earn 10 paisa than to collect 1 taka. Better a poor horse than no horse at all. Teach him how to lose with dignity and enjoy if he wins after losing.

Teach him to sell his talents and qualities at a high price but never put a price on his heart and soul. Give him courage to be impatient, tell him to be patient to be brave. Teach him to have glorious confidence in himself, then he will have faith in man and God in the future.

Everything was instruction for you. But after all, please remember that you will do as much as you can, because he is my little, beautiful son.

How Abraham Lincoln Died:

After being elected president for a second term, Lincoln was not in power for long because he was assassinated by assassins shortly after he was elected. On April 14, 185, he went to see a play at the Ford Theater. There John Wicks Booth shot him in the back of the head.

His killer John Wicks Booth was a member of a famous theatrical family. And another strange coincidence is that Lincoln was the first president to be photographed on the day he took office, and in that photograph stood his assassin, John Booth, right next to Lincoln.

Booth killed Lincoln because he was a supporter of the Confederacy and Lincoln was an opponent of the Confederacy.

Just hours before he committed suicide at the Ford Theater, he enacted legislation to create the American Secret Service. Of course, even if the Secret Service had been formed earlier, they would not have been able to prevent his assassination because the Secret Service's job at the time was to stop the massive increase in money laundering. After Lincoln and two other American presidents were assassinated, the American Secret Service was formally deployed in 1901 to ensure the safety of the head of state.

After Lincoln's death the Secret Service was engaged in his defense, is it any wonder that there is something to be done to protect him again after his death? Yes, even after his death, Lincoln's body had to be kept under surveillance by the Secret Service because in the 18th century, a group of robbers tried to steal Lincoln's body from a grave in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Illinois, which was locked with only a lock. The robbers planned to demand ২০০ 200,000 in exchange for Lincoln's body and to release the leader of the group who was in prison. But Secret Service agents were able to thwart the robbery plan. Very quickly after the incident, Lincoln's body was removed to another grave, and the body was later placed in a steel coffin and buried under 10 feet of concrete.

However, the end of Abraham Lincoln's life was much more abrupt as no other US president had been assassinated before him, but many more have been assassinated since then, many of whom are still unknown to the public.

Abraham Lincoln is one of the most respected former presidents of America. Because he has done a lot of work for people in the midst of hundreds of adversities that no one has dared to do before him or no one knows if he would have done it. Notable among his achievements were the signing of the Mariel Act, which established colleges of agriculture and technology in each state, the Declaration of Independence, the abolition of slavery in the United States, the enactment of the National Banking System, and the Pacific Railways Act. etc.
