Three people, including a housewife, a college student and a teenager, were killed in separate incidents in Kabirhat and Chatkhil upazilas of Noakhali.
Two people were killed in separate incidents between noon and afternoon on Friday (October 9) and one on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as Rifat Hossain, 19, son of Nazrul Islam of Kandirpar in Sundalpur union of Kabirhat, Manija Khatun, 33, wife of Abdur Rahman of Paschim Nalua village in the same upazila and Faisal Mahmud, son of Manik Miah of Chhota Jiban Nagar village in Chatkhil. .
It is learned that Rifat, a resident of Kandirpar area of Sundalpur Union and a student of a polyclinic college in Dhaka, got angry with his father over the love affair of a local girl. Later, Rifat died after taking drugs to kill the deer.

On the other hand, housewife Manija Khatun was electrocuted while working in her house in Budhinagar area of Nalua village in Dhansindri union of Kabirhat upazila around 4pm on Friday.
Kabirhat Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mirza Mohammad Hasan confirmed the incident.
Also, a teenager named Faisal Mahmud Murad committed suicide by hanging himself from a coconut tree near his house in Chhota Jiban Nagar area of Khilpara Union in Chatkhil on Thursday night.
Chatkhil Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwar Hossain said the incident was initially believed to be due to a family quarrel. The body was recovered and sent to the morgue for autopsy on Friday afternoon.
