Do you believe in premonition? Or something like that? Well, I'm going to tell something that I just saw in a documentary film. This astonished me to such an extent that today I want to share this story.
A few days ago I wrote a story from my imagination. I had seen cases of people asking for someone to help them die and those people did, I had also read about people who on their own seeing sick people helped them to die. From all this, a story came out of my imagination about a nurse who murdered several people because she took it on as helping them. I named my story “Night Angel”, but yesterday I saw a movie where a nurse is taking the lives of others and I just thought... what we write from our imagination can also happen in real life, because some murderer may also make it work out of his imagination.
This is the story of what I just saw:
It happened somewhere in Australia. There is a clinic for the elderly that is run by a professional team and they take very good care of the sick elderly.
They need a nurse and Megan comes, she is friendly and communicative so they give her the job right away. But little by little the elders begin to complain about her, among themselves.
Susan says she rang her room bell a lot to call the nurse, but Megan took a long time to come and when she got to Susan's room Susan complained that Megan just rudely asked her “what do you want?” Susan asked for an ointment that she has on her nightstand and Megan takes the sheets covering Susan and gets even more annoyed by her, telling her to take a bath. Finally, she takes the ointment and throws it at her.
Then there is Elizabeth who refers that she asked for help in the wheelchair and Megan, when she reached the edge of the path, threw the wheelchair at her. The chair stops abruptly and Elizabeth injures her thigh and gets a bruise.
The old ladies are going to complain to the team coordinator. Susan is 82 years old and a very dear old woman, she is very encouraging and everyone wants to have her as a patient, Elizabeth is 76 years old and is friends with everyone at the clinic, she needs the support of the wheelchair to do your things and there is also Aileen who is the youngest, is 70 years old and is receiving medical treatment and also complained about Megan's arrogance.
The coordinator calls Megan. He tells her that several patients complained about her mistreatment and tells her that if another claim occurs again, she’ll lose this job. Megan asks who complained and tells her that it won't happen again.
But Megan has another purpose in mind; she reads the names of the patients who complained and vows that she will take revenge.
Nobody knows, but Megan has causation. She’s already been jailed for mistreating patients and robbing them, she was working in a retirement home for the elderly and when she found out where the clothes and money were kept she proceeded to work at night. She put several old women to sleep by putting drugs in their medicines and then she would go and steal their money and clothes. Megan was discovered and arrested and after serving her punishment, she was released from jail with the assurance that if she had another mishap with a patient, she would lose her title and would never be able to practice this profession again.
With that in mind, Megan requests a shift change to the night and there she begins to make her malicious plan. She takes two bottles of insulin from the fridge. Do you know what happens if you inject this into a patient in high doses? Nothing good.
She waited until midnight, when everyone sleeps, and goes to Susan's room. She has a small flashlight with which she can see her target. Looking at Susan sleeping, she administers the insulin in the solution that is being given to Susan.
Then she goes to Elizabeth's room and does the same. But when she goes to Aileen's room, Aileen is awake, she sees that Megan doesn’t turn on the light but looks at her with her flashlight. Thankfully, Megan can't do anything to Aileen and she’s lucky that she's awake.
At least two old ladies won't bother anymore. Staff passes through the patient rooms, Susan makes noises with her mouth and Megan tells them lies about the noises, they believe her for some reason. The nurse lets her sleep without waking her because Megan lied to her.
In the morning these two patients are dead, no one knows why. They were not in critical condition and the police were called. The inquiries begin.
They don't take long to find the insulin bottles. The coordinating nurse noticed that the refrigerator was missing two of them and informed the detectives.
Megan is the first suspect, this because Aileen was frightened by Megan's presence in her room that night and told the detectives about this.
Megan's phone is tapped. She’s discussing the case over the phone and claims that the old women had their medications changed. But surprise, nobody knows that, only the murderer and the coroner. This important piece of information is what allows the detectives to arrest her.
Megan was imprisoned in 2014 for mistreatment of the elderly and now in 2016 she murdered two elderly women. She would never be released from prison or practice her profession again.
This real life story is not the same as mine but it has a lot of similarity. Sometimes the reality of the wicked exceeds the imagination of the writer.
It actually is familiar. Same administration of lethal injection too amd the time of action. The cause is just different. That's really interesting Sad she was just after revenge
