Angie's mother.

It was a quiet city where people lived quiet lives and two of the families that lived had something in common; very similar daughters. They became best friends since childhood and loved being together. In their lives there were many things to share and they always enjoyed it.

At school they were beauty queens, at sports games they were cheerleaders, and at parties they were the best hosts. Angie is 18 years old and the more outgoing of the two, she always took the initiative to make the decisions either in the groups of friends at school and at the parties they organized, then there was Luisa, who was 19 years old, the oldest but she always agrees with Angie's ideas. To Luisa, Angie is a great person.

Angie's family is a wealthy one, both of her parents are professionals and they try to make sure their daughter fulfills her life goals, always within limits, but with a lot of consent. Angie is the older of two siblings, while Luisa is from a less wealthy family; she only has her mother and her father disappeared from their lives many years ago. Her mom tries to educate her daughter in the best possible way.

Today is a happy day for the girls… Angie and Luisa have a great party planned and the two girls are very excited.

Angie, as always, will go to pick up Luisa from her house in her car. The party was great, they enjoy the whole night. Just dancing and spending the night with their friends is enough to enjoy their night.

It's already midnight and it's almost time for them to retire home. Their classmates know that the girls are obedient and they say goodbye. "It's fine for today," Angie says and she has a proposal for Luisa that she won't be able to refuse.

On the way they are very animated, remembering everything they experienced at the party. But suddenly, everything goes dark, they have a car accident. A truck driver under the influence of alcohol crashes Angie's car, so spectacularly that both girls suffer serious injuries. They are taken to the nearest hospital, after being treated by paramedics and taken in the ambulance. But the girls are in bad shape, one of them is in worse shape than the other.

 The impact of the accident left so many injuries on the girls that they are unrecognizable. Their conditions very complicated and they have multiple fractures, loss of scalp and facial tissue… and so on. They lost a large part of their facial features. One of them lost both eyeballs, and the other still has an eyeball left.

Their parents go to the hospital. Not even they can recognize their daughters. The inspector who investigates the accident tells both families that the person driving the car is the one in the worst condition; they are intubated in the intensive care unit, in a comatose state.

The parents immediately know who owns the car. The news leaves them devastated. Meanwhile Luisa’s wounds aren’t as terrible; she is in the intermediate care unit but awakens for moments and then returns to her sleepy state.

Luisa's mother, although she knows that her daughter is in better condition, is worried about both of them. When she visits her daughter Luisa, she doesn’t answer her call, but Angie is totally asleep.

The inevitable happens, Angie dies. Her parents can't stand it, It’s a heavy blow to their lives.

Angie's mother continues to visit Luisa in the middle care unit. She’s already recovering. She doesn't need all of that equipment anymore, the only thing that remains are the operations to complete her treatment. Angie's mother talks to Luisa and she gets upset, she opens her eye wide as if scared and she tries to speak but her jaw fractures won't let her. Angie's mother has no option but to leave the room, because Luisa is disturbed.

Angie's mother comes back another time and tells Luisa that she can't bear that her own daughter has died. Luisa, who is alone in the room, gets upset but cannot speak. Angie's mother carries a fluffy stuffed animal in her hands that was Angie's favorite and while she talks to Luisa, saying: "Why weren't you the one who died?" and places the stuffed animal on the bandages on her face, Luisa suffocates… Angie’s mother saw Luisa's look of surprise before leaving the room, the fluffy stuffed animal in her bag.

Luisa dies too. This leaves both families heartbroken.

But something unexpected happens. After making the pertinent inquiries to the accident, the detectives manage to know the details of what happened. They bring the two families together in the province. The inspector in charge is responsible for informing the parents of everything.

On the night of the accident Angie told Luisa to drive, Angie had been giving Luisa driving lessons and Luisa accepted as always. Luisa always accepted what her friend asked her to do. This is what the inspector discovered in his inquiry with the witnesses.

To which Angie's mother emitted a bloodcurdling and heartbreaking scream and immediately pounced on the inspector, saying: "Why didn't you say that before!?Why didn't you say that before!?”

Her own daughter had been driving all along. She had suffocated Angie, her own spawn, without knowing it. That is why "Luisa" would get upset every time she saw her mother enter the room and could not tell her who she was…

At the time of the accident, Luisa was able to see the truck coming at full speed and her nerves made her, instead of stopping the car to let the crazy driver pass, accelerate the car, hitting the truck even harder.

When leaving the party Angi proposed to Luisa that she drive. At the time of making the inquiries, they thought that the owner of the car was the person who drove the car. That it was Angi. And so it was recorded in the medical records at the hospital where they were treated.

Names were changed. Angi was Luisa and Luisa was Angi.

After collecting all the information, the inspectors learned about this information that no one knew.
