One Of The Helpful Tips To Make Parenting Easier And Enjoyable
It's my 9th year of motherhood to my three children, and I am still learning and experimenting with parenting techniques. Every day, I read articles from various websites about parenting, motherhood, and other topics concerning children and parents. For me, there is nothing wrong with adapting other parents' strategies for raising their children as long as it benefits both the children and the parents.
Most parents agree that being a mother is difficult but rewarding. Being tough is a given, but one parenting website has written that it always has simple parenting tips. I'd like to share one tip for making parenting easier and happier. Although children's attitudes, abilities, and skills vary, there is no need to expect too much, but at the very least, try it. Some of these suggestions were useful to me.
Let's help our children do basics tasks on their own
Allowing our children to do basic tasks on their own is something that would make them a responsible one. Not all parents allow their children to do simple tasks because they believe that children are only interested in playing, studying, and having fun. But why is it important to give them minor responsibilities? Here we go, the easier and happier parenting will come into play in these situations. It is important that children know their responsibilities as a child as long as their rights. This I proved when I started teaching my children under Homeroom Guidance Subject.
This Homeroom Guidance is very helpful. It guides us parents how to teach our children in their Daily life including intellectual aspects. Even though I am a mother and it is being said that teaching starts within at home, I could say that this Guidance from school helps me a lot to help kids in understanding about their life. One of the things I considered that helps kid a lot is understanding about their responsibilities and rights as a kid.
The Kid's Responsibilities and Rights
It is important to let them know their responsibilities as a child and rights as a child. By this, they will be able to make them responsible and better person. Giving them responsibilities doesn't mean that we need to force them to do tasks. We should also observe if they are able to do simple tasks like fixing their own scattered things, sweeping the floor or fixing their beddings and explain why they have to practice these things. As I have said, simple or minor tasks. By this, kids will able to understand how important is to be a responsible person. It's not hard to raise them since they know their responsibilities. Of course, if there are responsibilities, there are rights also for the kids like giving them shelter, education, clothes, foods and let them play. Let them enjoy their childhood.
Based on my experience (understanding about kid's responsibilities and rights), my kids became responsible little by little. I didn't find it difficult in their attitudes because they really know what are those responsibilities that they have to perform and rights they have to acknowledge. Be careful also when explaining it to them, you never know when they will remind you of what you taught them. Meaning, you must be the model to your kids, do what you taught them.
