My Experience In Seeking A Job
I am one of those who have been rejected for a job. Nothing is more difficult than finding a job; this is where we live. There were times when I became impatient and found it difficult to find a job. To seek jobs, I had to leave my family and resettle far apart. When I applied for the job for the first time, I was recognized. However, because my job was only contractual, it ended after 6 months.
To tell my story short, I have had applied job 16 times. Three of the jobs I applied, I were rejected and 13 were successful but all had a limited contract. My last job before I got pregnant was almost my permanent job but it rejected me again after 2 years of working with them. The reason was, they removed workers from their company who were pregnant, incomplete attendance, and those who have low-quality performances.
What characteristics characterize an effective jobseeker?
Great job seekers are persistent. Persistence can also be defined as fix or push. A fearless person operates effectively; they will not let the job hunt come to an end. They develop innovative suggestions, are persistent in their pursuit of possible improvements, and are conscious of how they can improve to become more eligible.
Employers prefer applicants who are confident and competent and what they can bring to a corporation. Start practicing trying to explain how your expertise demonstrates your abilities so that you can communicate about it with individuals you've just encountered naturally. This is also true for professional networking. As a job seeker, approaching someone you've never know and enhancing your hand can allow you to make a bunch of wonderful interactions. To get relaxed with this, consider attending small, local social gatherings and setting a goal of meeting some new people.
Successful job seekers will continue pursuing an open position with enthusiasm. After having to send a job application, follow up by asking and request what the next stages should be. If you know somebody at the organization where you want to work, contact out them and build a relationship with them.
What drives you to persevere in the face of nervousness? You are unlikely to see someone searching over your shoulder advising you what actions to take next in your job hunt, similar to the environment in a work environment. When the job search becomes tedious or demoralizing, find creative ways to stay motivated.
Such a quantity of rejection is unavoidable during the job application process. While it may be difficult to accept, your behavior directly following rejection will demonstrate your perseverance as a job seeker. Prepare to accept bad responses, incorporate them into your existing methods, and keep moving forward. It is important to realize that being passed over for a job is not a negative reflection. Every company is looking for the best candidate for their benefits of the company. Their disapproval most likely means you're a perfect choice for another business, then you've been given a further opportunity to find that job!
There is no magical solution of personal characteristics that produce the ideal job seeker. Everyone seems to have their own set of characteristics because everyone has room for improvement. Take considerable time, however, trying to reflect on your advantages and disadvantages to see where you might be willing to formulate these much more individual career skill sets.
