Year 2007, I was terminated from my job by my team leader. I was working there as Quality Assurance (QA) inspector. Our product was a hard disk drive, so it's very sensitive parts of a hard disk that's why many rules were implemented. My first violation was not wearing a facemask inside the "clean room", the reason was I forgot to wear it. That reason was invalidated based on their rules and regulations. The security guard has been punished too, that's cruel for her side. The human resources gave me a DA (Disciplinary Action) form, where I needed to state why I violated the rule and that DA served me as violating a critical violation. For the second time and the last chance, I committed a violation again, absence in the workplace with late information. On the spot, I was terminated by my team leader. The impact of being terminated gave me a big crisis like having no job for several months like 6 months. I learned a lot about giving importance to the rules and regulations that were given to us all the time.

What are rules and regulations?

Rules can be defined as the protocols or instructions for performing something correctly. These are the rules that control an institution or country's actions or conduct. Regulations, on the other hand, in a specific country apply to the rules or legislation enforced statutes.

The key difference between legislation is that while the former is not legally binding, the latter is legally binding. Since these two words are used in the same respiration, there are no variations between people. These rules and regulations are extremely important in so doing as they help to maintain law and order on the spot. These rules are very important since they are present everywhere - school, college, office, club, business, banks, etc.

The rules are the basic collection of guidelines for people that clarify how to do things. As they are for their good, the rules should be observed by the public. Failure to comply with any law may have a minor effect. What to do and what not to do, laws tell us. Can be arranged for home, hospital, college, office, school, and other purposes.

The regulations that are allowed by the government and accepted by the public can be classified as those that are governed. They are made after the entire public has been taken into account, and they must therefore be observed. Infringement of any rule can trigger serious punishment or dismissal. When both houses pass a bill, it becomes law and laws enter into effect based on the legislation.

Why there are rules and regulations?

In the fundamental sense, the advantages of business rules and regulations are that they protect the organization. You defend the company from litigation by shielding workers. The rules and regulations allow workers to understand what they expect and what could happen if they break the rules. It creates a secure workplace atmosphere in which people feel healthy to come to work, live, and do business. The consequence is lower turnover, more teamwork, and stronger corporate moral values.

The bottom line is profit for the company. Recruiting and incorporating new people costs money. Failure to innovate or fail to deliver leads to longer production times, thereby reducing revenue. Corporate morality also has a significant influence on the success of workers. Happier workers don't come late or call sick as much. People who feel comfortable at work can talk to colleagues quicker and more easily to address issues. Therefore, if everybody complies with correctly communicated rules and regulations, the team does better.

Consumers often benefit when workers comply with laws and regulations. The first advantage is that the business operates with more satisfied, less depressed workers. The second advantage is that workers feel relaxed and secure in their work with the company. Both contribute to consumer satisfaction and customer loyalty in the end. If consumers are glad, fewer grievances can be treated to improve business morality and to minimize maintenance costs. It decreases product returns and raises revenues because returns and restoration are cost-effective for unsatisfactory customers. The reduction and elimination of these costs helps to raise net total profit.

It also encourages clients with their family and friends to exchange meaningful experiences. All of this leads to an effective and well-established business growth. People like businesses that they trust and like. This is the first step to create this broader public picture of progress if the team follows the rules and regulations.
