Although it works in a similar fashion, the distinction is so much better than a faucet. Here's why I think Blurt is a better option.

First of all, this post is directed to the new Blurt users who find it difficult to earn enough Blurt rewards to pay for the transaction fees. I've been observing the Discord chat and occasionally I'm noticing some users complaining about their little rewards while the fees are high.
In my opinion and experience, the rewards are hefty and the fees are cheap. In most cases, the fees that I pay to post are about 0.50 to 1.50 Blurt while my earnings are much more than that.
For today, I will share the services that I use to hack those Tx fees and earn more to be used for my other activities like commenting and curating.
Let's start!
Tip #1 "Get-Upvote" in Blurt Discord
For this option, you will only a Discord account (which you may already have at this point, I'm just assuming). If you already have a discord account, just click on my invite link to join the server:

After joining the server, look for the Blurt Community channel and look for the "Get Upvote" sub-channel.
In this channel, you may paste your Blurt post link using a simple code:

The upvote will come from the @blurtcurator account (an independent curator account), and I usually receive about 2.5 Blurt gross amount. My net rewards will be 1.25 Blurtpower.
Tip #2 Free voting service by @Droida
It's also an independent service that allows Blurt users to acquire an upvote directly from the @droida account through this website.

How much will you earn?
Based on my latest posts, I'm getting a full upvote from the account @droida which provides a gross reward of 16 Blurtpower. The net rewards will be 8 Blurtpower. It's obviously the more lucrative option than the @blurtcurator service.

According to this post, you may delegate your Blurt power to earn liquid Blurt rewards while increasing the number of upvotes that you will receive. So the best way to utilize this service is to delegate BP to @tomoyan and then actively post on Blurt social platform.
How much will you earn? It depends...
Option A
If you don't delegate BP, you will earn about 4.80 Blurt upvote that will result in a net reward of 2.40 Blurtpower.
Option B
If you delegated your BP to @tomoyan, you will earn about 22.00 Blurt upvote. The net reward will be 11 Blurtpower. Obviously, Option B offers the best return.
On top of that, you will also earn liquid Blurt tokens at 20-30% APR!
These values are based on the latest upvotes that I received.
Final note
All of these services can be used at the same time & the same post. To summarize the potential earnings when all of them are combined:
