Hey guys! I just finished watching grancrest senki (Record of Grancrest War) anime.

Genre

The genre of this anime is romance/fantasy. There are some mature scenes in this anime so if you can't handle them, I'd suggest skipping them. Definitely, since this is a war anime, there is going to a lot of blood and gore. Not for the weak-hearted!!!

Plot

The story revolves around a wise mage who changes the life of a wandering lord. Being a rule-breaker, the mage, Siluca, forms a contract with the lord, Theo, and thus, starts their adventure. Together, they achieve various goals – fairly owing to their much common ideology and virtues – and make allies along the way. However, the best gift they gather is lure love and admiration for each other.

What is the relationship dynamic?

Even though according to the ranks, lords are higher than mages, these two seem to have a somewhat equal dynamic. It changes though, depending on various scenarios. Sometimes Siluca takes the reigns and sometimes Theo. But both are very supportive of each other.

Does it have a happy ending?

Yes!

How many episodes of this series?

The series has only one season comprised of 22 episodes. Not too long, easy to watch. Especially, during this pandemic!

What Is the overall verdict?

It was definitely worth the watch!
