Daily Diary - March 5 2021 No work today. Washed today. It’s not rained for awhile now but the well that was dry on Sunday now has water. I was able to wash. I didn’t take any pictures today so I wanna share with you a picture I took around November last year. This is a beauty parlor. This isn’t your usual one. It’s an outdoor hairdressing salon, pedicure and manicure parlor. They sometimes do makeups too. Whenever you come to Accra Ghana, you should try one of these. This was taken at the Madina market here in Accra

Daily Diary Hope y’all doing good. I went to church today. It’s a Sunday and it’s church day for me. Had a good time in church. I got home and I had banku with hot pepper and scrambled eggs. I didn’t eat before going to church, so I wasted no time to dig in. Spent the day watching movies and chatting on my phone. I need a new hobby, or at least learn a skill.

Daily Diary - February 14 2021 Wherever you are, happy Valentine’s Day to you. Hope you showed love to someone in whatever small way you could. I went to church today. Had a nice time in church. I came home and I made Jollof rice for the family. That was my way of showing love. The jollof rice with kitchen was tasty.

Daily Diary I’ve been away for awhile. My phone had issues. I’ve finally repaired it. I hope to get money for a new one soon. I just wanted y’all to know that I’m alive and well. I’ve been working but not making much money. I’m managing though. Hoping for something more permanent soon.

Daily Diary - 23/01/21 Missed one day. The day was so boring, I had nothing to post. I was alive and well though, and I’m still alive and well. Went to buy food today and had some steps. No work today. I don’t know about Monday but nothing to do for now

Daily Diary - January 19 2021 Another day at work. Day 2 at East Legon. We are done with the work there. The work wasn’t tedious but the sun scorched me and I feel tired. Was able to get a good count too.

Daily Diary - January 17 2021 I didn’t go to church today. I was home in the morning. I woke up late. I went to work in the afternoon with my boss. We couldn’t finish because we were delayed chiseling the walls where the staircase will go. It got dark and we had to leave. Will finish the rest later on.

Daily Diary - January 16 2021 Didn’t go to work early. Left the house just before 12 noon. Went to fix pillars and mats for a lady. She didn’t pay us the full amount, and promised to add the rest when we come and finish up. She doesn’t have all the materials to complete the job so we did what we could with what we had. We cleaned up her place after working. Wasn’t a tiring day.

My Daily Diary - January 14 2021 I am alive and well. Was a tiring day at work. Went to two different sites. Completed the work at Otinibi. We are left with the staircase. We couldn’t do them because the carpenters had made a mistake there. We went to a second site to do a mesh for sink. We closed late and got home late.

What Does Today January 13 2021 Mean To Me Been home all day. Called my boss in the morning to find out if there was any job. He said he will call me if anything came up but he never did. I guess there was nothing. A friend came to visit. A short while after she got here, she said she was feeling sleepy. She started sleeping in the chair. She slept a while though, and it was the first time she was coming over. I went to escort her to the bus stop when she was going home. That’s the only interesting things that’s happened with me all day. Goodnight

What Does Today January 12 2021 Mean To Me I went to work today. It was a short day at work, unfortunately I forgot to snap any pictures. I got home at 1pm. I decided to wash my bedsheets. I didn’t wash them on Sunday because I was getting late for church which I didn’t even go after all. I washed around 2pm and it was dry by evening time. The sub was scorching hot.

What Does Today January 11 2021 Mean To Me I didn’t go to work today. I was too tired from yesterday. My boss was understanding. I went to Madina to register for biometric birth certificate. I’m supposed to go to the region where I was born and because it’s far, I told them I was born in Accra where I live now. From there, I passed by the market and got some food stuffs including noodles and eggs. I prepared some when I got home.

What Does Today January 09 2021 Mean To Me Went to work today. Went to finish of yesterday’s assignment. We couldn’t finish today. Guess we weren’t as fast as we thought. Will go tomorrow after church service to continue hopefully. I don’t know for sure whether I will be going. We’ve progressed well though. If not for the corrections we had to do, we might have been done by now. All things come together for good for they that love the Lord. We keep hoping for the best.

What Does Today January 08 2021 Mean To Me Went to work today. I was late for work. I didn’t wake up early so my boss came for me at home. I’m lucky my boss has a car. Going by public transport will have been hectic. Sun was scorching pretty much today. My boss bought asana and tea bread for me in the afternoon. Asana is a kind of local malt drink that’s sold refrigerated. I did enjoy. Was a hardworking day but all we thank God for work.

What Does Today January 07 2021 Mean To Me Today is a holiday in Ghana. It’s the day the winner of the presidential elections in December is sworn in as president. My family had a small get together today. It was all fun and merry making. I had not seen some of them in a year and was good to see them. There was a lot of food and drinks. Hopefully, we get strength and more life to do a lot more of this in the future.

What Does Today January 06 2021 Mean To Me Went to the bank today to register for an ezwich card. I didn’t go to work because of that. Ezwich cards are kinda like atm cards but it’s not linked to any bank. It’s a way to make the system a bit more cashless in Ghana. You can load money on it and withdraw anytime. The charges are low but there are no interests unlike a bank. We are having a family get together tomorrow so prepared for that when I got back from the market. I ate rice and stew with some of the meat for tomorrow’s party.

What Does Today January 05 2021 Mean To Me Didn’t go to work today. Went to check on a job. I’ve been offered the job and I’m supposed to start on Friday, but I didn’t know if I should do it. It pays 70$ and involves a lot of walking and convincing people to open fixed deposit accounts. Came home in the afternoon and dug a gutter in front of the house. When it rains, it gets into the house too often. Dug one some months ago but I erosion uphill had caused it to be filled with sand again. Hopefully, this one will last.

What Does Today January 04 2021 Mean To Me First working day of the year. We went to remove metals from a job we did in 2020. Not knowing the carpenters hadn’t worked with the plan. Unfortunately for us, we didn’t use the building plans but worked based on what the carpenters had designed. Came home hungry. Went to buy rice and stew for dinner.

What Does Today January 03 2021 Mean To Me Hope y’all good. Happy new year if I’ve not wished you. Went to church today, but unfortunately I didn’t snap any photos in church. Guess I was preoccupied. Had a good time in church. Came home and did some washing. Washing for the week. Hopefully, work continues tomorrow and we start making some money. Goodnight everyone

What Does Today January 01 2021 Mean To Me Wherever you are, I wish you a Happy New Year. Hopefully, you set goals this year and achieve them. Don’t just hope for change, be the change you want to see. I’ve been home sleeping and watching movies all day. Ate jollof rice for dinner after I had gone for a walk. It’s a holiday here and most people have gone out to celebrate.

What Does Today December 31 2020 Mean To Me Last day of the year. Hope the year hasn’t been too bad on you. I went to see someone about a job. It’s a sales job. The person says I don’t have any sales experience so might be difficult. He says I will hear from him though, so I’m waiting to see what happens.

What Does Today December 30 2020 Mean To Me Got up and got ready for work after my morning devotion. Called my boss and told him I’m on my way. Halfway there, he called to cancel. I went to see a friend instead since I was available. Came home in the evening and had Jollof rice for dinner.

What Does Today December 29 2020 Mean To Me I’ve got waist pains from work. Too much squatting. Left home at 7:15 for bosses house. We left my bosses house at 8am for the work site. Was a sunny day but we worked hard. Along the line I saw a snake under a tree under which my boss’s work bench house. I couldn’t go close enough to capture it so sorry for my poor image quality. It went away on its own after some time. My boss says my body will get used to the squats and I won’t have any more waist pains so I should manage.

What Does Today December 28 2020 Mean To Me Still in the Christmas season. Didn’t go to work today. Had a visit from a friend. She was supposed to stay until later in the evening but her mum called. She said someone was at home who wanted to see her, so she had to get home. Good I got to see her though. Not had any visits this Christmas season. I’ve not visited anyone either, so I have no course to complain. Had Jollof rice with pork for dinner. Enjoyed it.

What Does Today December 26 2020 Mean To Me Went for a wedding today with my boss. Was a good event that took place at the states time. We thought they will delay so we arrived late. They had closed when we got there. From there we visited a church member. I went to the wedding with my boss, and also to visit the church member. I went to meet a friend on my own later at night. I got home late but I’m happy I got home safe. Happy Boxing Day to all.

What Does Today December 25 2020 Mean To Me Merry Christmas to everyone. Sorry if the late is wish, but better late than never. If you don’t celebrate or recognize Christmas, hello to you too. I went to church today. Had a wonderful Christmas service. We closed early and I’ve been home since. I tried sleeping but sleep wouldn’t come. It’s been a quiet Christmas day. I didn’t get any chicken to chew nor any meat but I’m glad to be alive. Hopefully, I can afford everything I want this time next year.

What Does Today December 22 2020 Mean To Me Continued with the sleeping today but I was able to get up much more today. Been having a running stomach and so, I visit the washroom every 3-4 hours. Don’t know what I ate which is causing this. Rained yesterday and today too even though we are supposed to be in the dry season. I’m yet to experience the harmattan which usually begins in November until February. I’m drinking enough water so I don’t get dehydrated.

What Does Today December 20 2020 Mean To Me Happy Sunday Y’all. Hope you all are doing good. It’s a church Sunday so I went to church. Had a good time at church. I couldn’t do my morning devotion but I do hope that going to church makes up for it. After church, spent the rest of the day watching movies. Went out to buy something in the evening and got more steps in. Was a good day in all.
