Even democracies fall over time once people ignore what the government is doing.

I am sure that those powers that the Emergency acts enable on the government are not something that the government created a day ago; it is something that politicians have been cooking for years and years under other pretenses. I am sure they will tell you those laws will be created to protect, if nothing more, dictatorships have always been made to protect the citizens and not a power grab by politicians.

It is clear that if you are a Canadian, you have no control over your own body, and the government can dictate to you what you will do with it; at first, it will be a simple mandate to vaccinate yourself, later on, they will tell you that they need to cut your ability to reproduce yourself to save the environment from humans that are multiplying out of control, and the last mandate will be to walk into a gas changer, to terminate your life because the government has decided your life is no longer needed. In Canada, they are willing to kill your pets, so eventually they will kill you because first will be your pet, later it will be your own life, once enough are brainwashed into thinking you are no longer a citizen but a near enslaved person or something lower.

And if you don't have control over your own body, you can be sure you won't have control over your own money and wealth, and everything you own can be taken away by the government. The fact that the donated money to the convoy was seized even when it was a donation is just part of it, and you can be sure that those that donated are in the same list of people that are no longer citizens but criminals because they dare to say no to the government.

In the future, your government in your nation, if not already, will try to seize your property anything that may hold value because the government was irresponsible with the money printing machine, and now you will have to give up whatever weight you may have left, that included Real State, and precious metals, the case of Turkey if I am not wrong where the government is asking its citizens to give up the gold so that politicians can keep on printing worthless fiat. Besides, if citizens give up their gold now, everyone will be poor because everyone will have worthless pieces of paper; that way, the government will achieve equality because everyone will be eating rock soup and dirty bread.

The way to save your wealth and money is not to give up your wealth and get out of your country on time if you see that politicians are printing too much paper currency and laws like the Emergency Act. Suppose you have gold or any other precious metal better to have stakes in many places and not in third-party custodians like banks. And if you invest in cryptocurrencies, you always move your coins to private wallets where only you have access to your keys and don't share how much you have to anyone, especially not on the internet.
