Let the government crackdowns come at once for crypto because that which doesn't kill it will make it stronger.
As my title implies, I want government crackdowns to happen as soon as possible, and the sooner, the better, and get it over and done. The government will find out that cracking down on Bitcoin, the actual Bitcoin, not the fake Bitcoin, will make the crypto world stronger and resistant to any other attack. They will bring the end of all fiat currencies to an early death, including digital fiats, like the one China pretends to launch soon.
All you hear about the mining crackdown and that mining was terrible for the environment when other industries were contaminating the whole planet with pollution and even heavy metals and radiation, the worst kind of contamination. Yet, those industries don't get a ban from the government. Still, a currency that threatens the fiat establishment is a genuine threat to the planet out of the blue. Well, it is not. It is just that the governments are showing their true colors and think that they can shut down the threat to their fiat printing.
Governments want to print you to slavery, plain and simple, but if a currency like Bitcoin BCH exists, that single little pebble will wreck their plans to a screeching halt. They know that if Bitcoin BCH exists, they won't have a reset but just a new group of people with newly acquired wealth, and governments' reset is all about making you and me poor. A debt enslaved person until the day you die, but if a true peer-to-peer exists, their reset will make those that hold some satoshis extremely rich and powerful because of their wealth. They can't afford that.
Even if big mining farms are shut down tomorrow, just a minute later, a new mine will pop the very next minute. Yes, the government can force big farms to shut down because they are big and require full warehouses. Still, once big farms see they are being attacked, they will either move underground or to another country or location, and if things get too crazy, they will close shop altogether, and the small retailers and believers will pick up where big farms left off. So the mining will never stop because it is decentralized and what I do inside my own house is my own business.
Once governments destroy big farms, they will discover that the mining continues inside regular homes because big miners will be out of the picture. It will be profitable again for small retail investors to invest in mining again, not to mention that all countries will go along with the environment which haunts them. Some countries will welcome Bitcoin miners and give Chine and United States the middle finger.
Many will think that crypto is done to find out later that they sold short their position. At first, the market will have a tremendous selloff than the one we have today because everything will collapse to never seen levels and last for a while. The market could go down in this situation because money will move and position itself better. Still, eventually, the FuD will go away because you can't kill something genuinely decentralized, and that is my real bet.
My bet on Bitcoin BCH resumes to just that, decentralization. I know the government will attack cryptos as a whole, and I know big miners will get a crackdown like never seen before. I know the price will collapse where we may even see a $1 Bitcoin Cash, and yet I know that just a few months later, Bitcoin Cash and all other decentralized cryptocurrencies will be trading again to a new all-time high. I don't need to be a genius to know this, and I know that decentralization will make this possible.
I do know, or I firmly believe, that decentralization is what will keep the whole cryptocurrency market alive and well. Despite governments' attacks, that will be the end for governments' fiat currencies because they will be proven wrong. Also, the regular citizen will understand not to trust printed money ever again. When governments think they have won, they will print a mass amount of currency because it will believe they have killed their greatest enemy. They will not understand that they never killed it. They just moved it underground.
And if cryptocurrencies were to die indeed, then governments will print so much money out of thin air that Venezuela will be a small event compared to what they will do once the threat to money printing is gone.
