Learn to say no to society if you want an easy life.

You may think that living in the United States is like living in heaven, but it is not, and it will be even worst, depending on your responsibilities and abilities. At the same time, if you are considering migrating to the United States, do it legally because you have a family member, your job, or your spouse, and if you come illegally like many do nowadays.

If you come here legally, you will have a clear advantage over those that come illegally, but you won't have an advantage over those who have gone to school here and have a diploma. That will be the case for those that get their visas because of their jobs. Many people with low skills are getting work permits to come and work in the fields, which are back-breaking jobs.

Those who come from places where the minimum wage is below $20 a day and work as fruit pickers in the US will feel like they are making a lot of money compared to their place of origin. They probably won't even be able to survive with that salary in the US.

As the economy gets worst not only in the US but outside the nation, we will see for of these kinds of workers, temporary workers, that migrate legally with visas that don't earn a living wage in the US but compare to the native lands they do.

Employers even consider employing people from outside because it is profitable and because they save a buck when they bring people from outside. Farmer is not in the business of giving free money to anyone. They are in the business of selling food, but in seeking more significant profits, they are seeking cheaper and cheaper labor to the point that they must contract temporary workers from outside.

And if the job is permanent, the requirements will be much higher. Probably you will have to be a professional to move to the United States. Perhaps you may not have any disadvantage over the nationals at that point. Still, as a skilled immigrant, you starve your nation of origin of your value and give it to another country that probably didn't pay a Nickle to support or provide an opportunity to finish your professional preparation.

And if you come illegally, you will have to work as day labor, in the field, or in jobs where the best salary is minimum wage. You will push by your managers to produce more and more, and you will have a say nothing because you know they are helping you by providing you with a job even when you are illegal. Illegals get the worst deal, but yet again, they will probably be better off than in their nation of origin.

Life is unfair, and job opportunities will not always be fair to you, regardless of where you live. People always think that the grass is greener on the other side. It is until they get to the other side that they realize they have made a mistake.

If you are young, the best option will be never to get any responsibilities. If you want an easy life, don't start a family, don't get into debt that you can't afford, save as much as you can, and invest that money into assets that appreciate over time.

My grandparents used to tell me that you only get married if you already have a fully paid house, and at that moment, you will notice that you are ready to start that chapter. Many of the sufferings of this world are because people don't know how to say no to responsibilities and don't know how to respond to society's pressures to make obedient working enslaved people.
