There are certain difficulties in working in temporary, seasonal and harvest jobs instead of working in a regular job. In some cases, the product must be collected immediately, otherwise there is a risk of spoilage, melting or wasted due to various reasons. Sometimes rain is beneficial to the crop, sometimes it can be harmful, or while the heat sometimes allows the crop to mature, sometimes cold is needed.

Picking cotton is one of these products. Since rain and dew grains directly affect the quality of cotton, it must be harvested immediately before rain and dew occur. Otherwise, the product will lose its value in the market. To do this, you race against time.

And when time is an issue, you activate it at night. Just working during the day may not be enough. Since they did this work by hand in the past, this process took about 3 months, fortunately, the developing technology affected everything in our lives, as well as the harvesting phase of cotton. Now, thanks to cotton pickers, we can process a field of hundreds of acres in one day.

Starting the day with such a nice hello is a common act in cotton picking. Maybe you miss the sunrise because most of you don't get up early in the morning, I can share this sunrise photo from a field in white for you.

On most image sharing sites, I see everyone posting their sunset pictures. Rarely are pictures of sunrises shared, which may be because early morning sleepiness predominates. If you don't have a job, no one can blame you for it. It is a food that the body needs during sleep. If you have the opportunity and have the chance to watch it from the right angle, I recommend you to watch the sunrise despite everything.

We take the collected cotton from the cotton picker and stack it on the trailers. You don't need to do anything extra for this. All you have to do is run, jump, chew the cotton with your feet or even stomp on it will help. While it's a bit of a messy job because of the dust in the cotton, the fun part outweighs it for us. You can think of it as doing sports in any gym, gymnastics or a simple walk, because the movement done in any condition is good for the body and heart health.

The cotton, which is stacked on the trailers, is then off to be delivered to the buyers. We do this mostly at the end of the night, when we're off work, the point here is just to save time. In any case, the selling process is a kind of moment when the producer receives the return of his labor. I do not want to enter into some wrong agricultural policies implemented by the rulers, this is the biggest factor that forces the farmer. Anyone who follows agriculture already knows this and has enough information about the applied mistakes, even if he is not a farmer.

For me, business is business, and doing it in more than one area is the most important factor in my financial relief. Cotton will end, olive will begin, while olive continues, pine cone work will begin. Sometimes it will be very busy, sometimes it will be days/weeks/months that are empty. Don't think of this as a complaint, because I really enjoy my job. This is a job I chose and enjoy doing. I shared in some articles about this in the past, everyone should work in a job they enjoy doing so that they can be more productive both in themselves and in the field they work in.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

If you want to interact with me on the noise site, I'm waiting.

I used to spend on an average 14 - 15 hours in a job that paid me so less and mediocre.. but I still enjoyed doing it without any issues, you are right, if we enjoy and love what we do, there is no trauma of it

As someone who grew up in the big city, I don't know much about agricultural work. However, my family was born and raised in the village. So I know what it's like to pick olives or figs. When I was a kid, I went to pick figs during the summer holidays. Of course it wasn't a job. It was a trip for me. I saw at once what it was like to pick olives in the fall. I say I saw it because I just watched it because it was hard. I think the people who do agriculture deserve all the respect. Hard work. It's a very difficult job. Still, I think it has its fun side.

Actually, I live in a city with a village origin and a population of over 100 thousand. But my work is constantly connected with the countryside, with the villages and with the fields. We have just come out of the fig harvest, and we will start olives as soon as the cotton is finished. Thanks.

I pick it from your last paragraph, there's immeasurable joy in doing a job that you love so much, it's stress-free (even if the work demand stress). Often times it's not the pay that energizes you but the joy within. Keep up💪💪

You are right, you always look for the ability to do it with pleasure and love in a job that you will do for years, so you should be able to go to that job with enthusiasm and motivation every day.
