We have a house and a large yard. We also have a female Beagle that barks only at cats and horses.

Last spring, my granddaughter brought a little black cat into the house, which was fucked abandoned and thrown out on the street. Fearing that the dog would attack it, I took it from my granddaughter and put it in my lap.

With one hand I caressed the frightened kitten and with the other hand I caressed the bewildered dog.

The dog looked at me and seemed to ask me: what is this cat looking for in our yard?

After half an hour, things calmed down. The animals sniffed and seemed to make friends. And so they started living together with me and my wife. When winter came, they would sleep next to each other at night.

The cat is a great hunter. he watches all day to catch some birds, but the most common prey is lizards.

He once brought us a caught mouse. For that, he was rewarded with fresh fish that I caught for him in the river that flows near our house.

Downstream, there is a bay where seagulls gather because people come there when they go for a walk to feed them.
