Lethal Bio-Weapons That Colored The Wars In The Past

Most of the territories of the countries in this world were created because they won a number of wars in the past. All kingdoms fight over each territory to get the resources sought and ultimately used to expand their territory. Therefore, the law of the jungle still applies. Kingdoms or countries that have strong fleets or weapons will easily win the war and those who lose must be willing to take their territory by force. However, that is not always the case. A country like Vietnam can provide an example that the United States military can be defeated when they encounter something that is beyond their expectations. At that time, guerrilla warfare became a weapon that Vietnam relied on because it was more useful than direct attacks.

There was a time when the conditions of war changed because of the emergence of scientific developments in a number of countries which made the meaning of war not always an open arena and physically confronted each other. They make certain ingredients either from food ingredients or medical concoctions which are dangerous to be very mysterious poisons to attack certain countries implicitly. However, not everything happens on purpose. Among them, it also occurs naturally. Who knows that nature is sometimes difficult for us to study?

Then, how can this happen? Well, they have their own stories. So, I'll explain it below.

The Surprise of The Scorpion Bomb

The idea of this weapon was made 2000 years ago when the soldiers from Rome were attacking the fort of Hatra (currently, the region is part of the country of Iraq). Later, parties from the Hatra Kingdom made pots filled with deadly scorpions, then they would blow up the pottery around the Roman soldiers when they had started to attack. Their efforts succeeded in holding back the attack from the Roman army at that time. In the end, they succeeded in repelling the troops commanded by Septimius Severus.

Although it indirectly kills the opponent, this scorpion bomb has a tremendous psychological effect on the opponent. The opponent actually experiences fear and will remember how dangerous the animal is so that it cannot eat and sleep in peace. Your opponents will experience fear and psychological trauma so that those who have been hit by a scorpion sting, can’t live in peace because they feel a stinging pain in the body.

Black Death Corpse Attack

This biological weapon was also used between the years 1345 to 1347 when the Golden Horde troops attacked Kaffa (now, this place is in Crimea). The beginning of this actually stems from a small dispute between the Genoese merchants and the citizens of the Gold Horde army which caused the death of the citizens of Golden Horde. Then, Jani Beg (the leader of the Golden Horde army) wants to ask the Kingdom of Genoa to be responsible for handing over the people who have killed the lives of their citizens, but the request was rejected outright.

The army of the Golden Horde was furious with the response of the Kingdom of Genoa. Then, they made the first siege. But, their first efforts failed because their war equipment (trebuchet) was damaged and many soldiers on their side died so they retreated. Then, they didn’t surrender, the second siege continued from 1345 to 1347. Actually, the condition of the Golden Horde troops isn’t in a good condition to attack the Kingdom of Genoa because many of its soldiers are affected by the Black Death epidemic that started in China and it is increasingly spreading through transportation routes.

Frustrated with the increasing number of soldiers who died from the plague in the middle of the war, Jani Beg racked his brains to use that soldier as a weapon. The dead soldiers were finally put on a trebuchet which would then be thrown into the middle of the city of Kaffa. The bodies were thrown and flew around the people of Kaffa and smell reached into their area. Those who couldn’t stand the conditions finally caught and secured the corpse. However, those who hit the corpse also contracted the Black Death Plague. Then, that event became the beginning of the spread of the Black Death Epidemic throughout Europe and Africa.

Uni Soviet Anthrax

This incident began during the cold war, precisely in April 1979. Scientists in Uni Soviet (Russia) are designing weapons that are considered mysterious. Then, shocking news came from the laboratory that at least 66 people and a number of animals died from contracting Bacillus Anthracis which was thought to have been modified by Russian scientists. The conclusion was drawn by a research team from the University of North Arizona. They also think that scientists in Russia are deliberately processing Bacillus Anthracis to be more dangerous. Outside the laboratory, many of the residents of Ekaterinburg (now, this place is called Sverdlovsk in Russia) complain of a mysterious disease in their bodies. then, also reported the death of livestock due to the outbreak.  

Then, they explained in more detail that the cause of all this was the failure to re-close the filter that had been opened. There is a large filter between the anthrax dust and the environment outside the laboratory. Laboratory workers who have finished their work open the filter because the laboratory has stopped working that day. Then he left an important note for the other workers to read, so they should know it. The next day, the worker who took his place did not find the record. when the machine in the laboratory is activated, the anthrax spores poison the laboratory area and its workers. Then, the anthrax spores are carried to the environment outside the laboratory because of the wind that causes humans and livestock to also be exposed. In the end, some of the animals and humans died within days of it. As the strongest rumors, this is also planned as their biological weapon against countries that are considered to be political opponents or their enemies.

However, what happened in the past is a dangerous thing that can punish humans and make this world darker than before. As a comparison, in this era and what we feel today is also a big question mark that is a mystery to the world. So, is this Covid-19 virus part of a biological weapon from a certain group or country that wants a certain goal? I still don't know the true facts (if you know it, you have to dig into the facts properly). All I know is that China has checked it and the United States has visited China to find out the truth and so on. Other countries and your country are also trying to end this all. We try to study the world and its mysteries that we still don't know.
