Graduation From College Is The Beginning Of Real Journey

There are the days when you’re declared as a graduated by your campus, then there are the days when you’re free from college exams and there are the times when you’re celebrate your graduation with joy. At that time, you and your friends threw the graduation hats into the sky as a sign that you were officially parted with campus life.

Many people around you will said “congratulations” to you.  You can interpret this meaning in explicit or implicit. Someone who are sincere to you, will tell the truth. While people who don't like you, they will try to be sarcastic. However, it's not always a bad thing as long as you close your ears and stick to your confidence. A fact that people said "congratulations, you officially entered a new world" it seems more realistic and logic.

Someone will wake up from their dream, they still don't have anything that can be useful for company that they were applying for, even though you’re in college getting cumlaude grades. They aren’t only want your grades, they want your experience to be in line with the company's principles and they also want to know your attitude. It is the key to entry company, wherever you apply.

I have a few useful tips for you to strengthen your mentality and mindset when looking for a job. So, please read carefully.

1. Don't Listen of What People Say About You

You don't have to listen to their gossip. They are envious people behind your back and they can't do things like you do. They are happy when you’re sad and when you’re happy, they will look angry at you. Usually, their figures are those in around you such as your friends, your neighbors, family and your relatives.

So, stick to your stance and believe in yourself. Even if your grade looks bad, at least you've tried to work hard to get best result.

2. Show Your Best Skills

You must looking for job vacancies according to your abilities & skill. You have to prove it during written exams and interviews. You must understand the principles of company  and you also must understand the job that you apply. This is a crucial thing you need to note. You don't have to think about how many people are also applying for that job.

What you need to realize, you must to be able to impress HRD Staff at the company that you apply.

3. Don't Expect Too Much

As a fresh graduate from the college. It isn’t recommended for you to ask for more salary from company. You must realize, this is your first job. You have to build trust, reputation and experience at first. If company already believes in your competence, they will definitely offer you a promotion or offer you more salary.

So, you have to be more patient and waiting for the right time. However, if after you waiting in a long time and you still don't get what you want, you can move to another company that will respect your skills.

The last but not least. You must keep in mind, even if you succeed to enter company, you will find various strict rules, the working hours that drain your time and also you must deal with politics and drama in your workplace. All of those problems will be in your office and you should be aware of that. This is your new life. Therefore, you must try to strengthen your mentality and psychic in your workplace and you have to keep positive thinking. This is the challenge and your life journey that you must deal with it.
