This week has been rather challenging at work. Although in Polish we have a saying, which goes something like ‘There is not a bad thing that doesn’t turn into a good thing’ and that’s exactly how it went. Just realised I haven’t posted for 3 days here! Well, that’s just me. Never really persistent daily user of anything. Here Hydrangea I captured a few days ago during my evening walk. Today has been absolutely crazy day at work. I flipped so much that my office suddenly filled up with so many people to see the show 😅😅😅 Clearly I can be very entertaining when I’m pissed off!

My petunia million bells is a little confused this years. Firstly she was supposed to die last winter and she didn’t. She was barely doing anything throughout the summer and now that the summer is over she’s having a time of her life! On the other hand, some other plants also decided to bloom more in September. I guess I wasn’t watering them enough during those super dry spells in the summer and now that we have lots of rain they’re all doing bettered. Happy to see my rose ‘Sweet child of mine’ blooming more too 💙

Today has been… flat. Probably the best I can come up with to describe it. I slept funny and now my left shoulder and neck are aching. Also no big plans for the weekend and not much dancing either, so I guess it will be one of those quiet weekends to write, read and flip some NFTs. Some more mushrooms that I’ve found (and mostly eaten) last Sunday. Looks like the mushroom season is in the full swing. My auntie in Poland also send me pics of mushrooms she’s been picking the past few day. BTW… the answer for the previous mushroom picture was 4. There are 3 bigger mushrooms and a tiny one in between the twins 😉

It’s official! Writing all about crypto is great from Rusty’s perspective and of course helps some people to find their ways in the vast cryptoverse, but fun topics are what most writers on read.cash want to read about. This can be seen by the number of comments on my articles. 4 comments in 2 days on the crypto article vs 18 on the fun one in less than 24h. Fun topics are much more popular. Something people can relate to I guess. Like sleeping habits challenge. Everyone has some. A few roses from my front garden this morning. Although the days are shorter and colder, I’m happy the sun is out, I can still dry my washing outside and enjoy my morning coffee in the sun. Later I’m out dancing again. How are you guys doing? 💙

Some roses are still decorating my front yard, although it won’t be for long, as the temperatures dropped significantly these past few days. Well, at least we have some sun, so I can still enjoy my morning coffee on the front ‘porch’ of my house. I call it porch, even though it hasn’t got any roof, just stairs to sit on 😉 Spider season is in full swing and I regularly walk into many spiderwebs in my garden. The owner of the one I captured run away from her pray when she saw me. Didn’t want to pose for pictures I guess. Maybe another time? Anyway, I’m off to another salsa party later today. What are you noisy people up to this weekend? We have an extra day off work on Monday, due to Queens funeral.

Some of my fuchsias looked like they won’t come back this year, but in the end they did - just a little bit late. I think this winter I’ll probably move them to shed to give them a better chance of survival. Also the weekend madness made me forget about sharing my latest article with you all. I wanted to show you guys some pictures from this weekend, but I looked in my photo gallery and there is none! Why? Because I was too busy having fun to remember taking pictures 😅 I was away at the salsa congress again, so I danced my weekend away. Also after long 3 months I’ve met my bestie again. Now I’m sick again, sneezing 🤧 and blowing my nose, but I would do it again and again! In my other phone I found 1 picture that my other friend took while I was ‘working’ my afternoon shift. I mean… making sure that everyone has a pass and then enjoying workshops with some of the best salsa dancers in the world. Can’t really call it work 😉

I was a little worried when my hostas disappeared last winter, but I was assured that they will be back in a new season. Indeed, they both came back, but the bright variety came back much stronger and just showed the first flower. Somehow I don’t remember the flowers being so big and showy last year. The other variety flowered more during the summer and now looks a little poorly. Maybe it’s getting ready for the winter rest. Hopefully it will come back stronger next year or else I’ll move it to a different position. I skipped work today. Monday off after the whole weekend of dancing was not enough and my nose is running like an open tap while sneezing 🤧 200 times a day 🙈

This week I’ve been so preoccupied with flipping NFTs that I felt like I haven’t done much work at my day job. Today finally a penny dropped about the turtle diagrams and I completed one for my director, which he was extremely happy about. That gave me a sense of achievement that I needed to close this work week on a good note. Now the weekend has started for me and guess what I’ll be doing every single day of it? Dancing 💃 of course! I know… I’m so boring 😅 I also minted this super cute rainbow dog today. First one I minted was also shorbet one, but with a long face. I wanted a short first at the next mint, but I didn’t think I should be so lucky…. Well, it was a ‘lucky’ day indeed 😁

This beautiful Phalaenopsis orchid decided to bloom for me yet again. It has a funny story… When I was living in Netherlands, one day I went to a local supermarket and saw many beautiful orchids. I wanted to pick one for my dad, as I was planning to go to Poland in a few days. This one really stood out, but as I inspected the roots, I saw that some of them were damaged by the staked pushed in without much care. I put it back on the shelf and picked another beautifully patterned orchid for my dad. Guess what? The following day my partners mum turned up at our doorstep with 2 orchids… one of them was the one that I wanted for my dad, but decided against it 😅 Well, since it was for me, I didn’t care much for the damaged roots, but I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful pattern. 4 or 5 years later (I can’t remember exactly) it is still alive, with super healthy big leaves and blooms for me every year without a fail, while the one I bought for my dad is long gone… Funny how things turn out in the end 🧐

Guess what? After my yoga on the water, I was so tired, I ate launch and laid down on my sofa. Before I knew it, I was gone! For 4 hours! So I got late to my friends bbq, which is not bad, cause I didn’t want to be out too long, as tomorrow is another exciting adventure. I’m off to London for another salsa party with my friend. I love scrolling my photo gallery for old pictures. This cute mini petunia for example grew in my garden last year. I had more than 10 varieties of them. This year I have only one pink variety that somehow survived the winter. That’s why I’m happy I take so many pictures, so I can enjoy them even when they’re no longer in my garden 🥰 Today was another productive day of writing, shopping and researching. Tomorrow I’m going to try yoga on the paddle-board for the first time. I’m really looking forward to it.
