Shortly thereafter, Mask added a comment saying: “Pharaoh Ramses II was an alien,” and referred to it using an emoji showing a face with black glasses.
Musk's tweets were very popular on social media and were shared more than 74,000 times, garnering more than 473,000 likes and more than 21,000 comments, 19 hours after their publication, as reported by Western media.
Musk’s statements did not go unnoticed by Egyptologists, who refuted them and responded to them.
The first of them was Dr. Zahi Hawass, the former Minister of Antiquities, who issued a statement in which he said: "It seems that this billionaire's money did not make him famous, so he began to announce that the pyramids were built by people who came from space, and that King Ramses II is also from space."
