This is a hike I did in May 2020. Watch the spring run off from melting snow. In the Pigeon River located near Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. This is the pigeon river and my hike to the Arrow River Falls.
The falls can be reached near the Minnesota/Ontario border. Near Arrow River Road. just off HWY 61 and HWY 593. This amazing looking waterfall is in a secret location. Something not everyone really knows about. But it is possible to do as and adventurous hike in the bush. The river was once used for lumber transport almost a century ago. This area is part of an old logging area. The river was used to push logs down from the forestry industry. Going back to the early 1900’s. This is the same river system you will find High Falls and Middle Falls and near Grand Portage State Park & Pigeon River Provincial park.
