Most of the time I always wonder if people really need politicians or politicians need
us for the sake of their own ambitions.
I'm in the country where you can find people who fight for their rights that's why we called a democratic people and we are the one who is responsible for those politicians to be in their positions to make a better place for their countrymen.
People Power Revolution was made first on the 22nd of February 1986 and it made history to end the dictatorship of President Ferdinand E. Marcos and begin a new era marked by true freedom and democracy. In his time, people made a move to end his leadership.
Honestly, I was only 2 years old at that time that's why most of the stories I know are from the subject in our school and on social media, there are a lot of terrible stories about that time and I wonder why that thing happened in our country.
For the second time around when I was in college, the People power revolution made it again to impeach the current president and it succeeded. That time I was fully aware of how politicians and the people who elected them stand their rights to terminate politicians who went wrong with their powers.
When I was 18 legal age to vote it was clear in my mind that the politicians I chose to vote are the right ones to make good things for our country but I was just one in millions with different views in politics but I believe it can make a change.
History repeats itself for the one question in my mind, why?
What are the reasons why it happened again?
Every time I read and heard about the news in our country there is always good and bad about the leadership of the politicians or even in the small unit of the society it always has a domino effect on the people. Most of the people entrusted the future glory of their lives in politicians can make a change.
In this article, I really want to reach out that everyone has the right to choose not to dictate to others on social media about these aspiring politicians to lead our country but to really research those people's intentions to make a better country for us.
How can we say that the politicians have good intentions for us?
Research about their family
Family is the basic unit of the society, nowadays there are different kinds of the family but the most important of all are those true politicians who grew in a family with integrity have an advantage. As a basic unit of society, politicians must be concerned about how to make each family have a better life with integrity.
Research about their plans for their countrymen
It is very important that politicians have a concrete plan to make a better country for us,
What are the things that they prioritize?
We must be very observant about their intentions to make that plan to be in reality.
Research about the things that they have made for the people
There are a lot of politicians who made a lot of projects in the past terms we must be very aware of that project is for us not for them. We all know that in a simple project they can easily take advantage of the budget that's where corruption takes place.
Research about their ways of living.
Politicians must be selfless they are in a position because they want to help who elected them to have a good and better life. Their way of livings is also a reflection of how selfless they are.
It is only my own idea on how I can make a decision on choosing the good and better one who will make a change for our country.
Please be aware that we are the one who is responsible why these politicians are in their position.
