Hello everyone! I took this photo in June 2018 during a cruise on the Volga. By June 6, we reached the water expanses of the Uglich reservoir. It appeared as a result of the creation of the Uglich hydroelectric power station in the 40s of the 20th century. The industry demanded sacrifices and more than 100 settlements were under water. In the towns where we stayed, rose hips were in full bloom in those days. This is a view from Kalyazin. There is a beautiful wild rose on the shore, and the historical center of Kalyazin is hidden under the water surface. * Всем привет! Эту фотографию я сделала в июне 2018 года во время круиза по Волге. К 6 июня мы доплыли до водных просторов Угличского водохранилища. Оно появилось в результате создания Угличской ГЭС в 40-х годах 20 века. Промышленность требовала жертв и под водой оказалось более 100 населённых пунктов. В городках, где мы останавливались, в те дни очень пышно цвёл шиповник. Это вид из города Калязин. На берегу красивый шиповник, а под водной гладью укрылся исторический центр Калязина.
