Sometimes you just have to write.

Most of us procrastinate a lot about finishing the book. We end up writing barely few paragraphs and then wait for motivation to kick in. That motivation never comes. And then we double our courage and then keep waiting for the right moment to write.

If you are a writer and love to procrastinate, you'd only keep waiting for the right moment.

If you are a non-fiction writer, then you would procrastinate about writing and keep pushing the routine in some excuse.

What is the cure for this habit?

Just write 100 words.

There is no magic formula. There is no rich people secret. There is no superman helping you. There is nobody to tell you how to avoid procrastination.

You want to avoid procrastination? Just write.

You want to avoid your mind pushing for excuse? Just write.

There is no proper method here that you can push yourself. Sometimes all that you have in your head and your body is ability to move and take action. You can't get ahead unless you do take proper action.

How to avoid Writers Block?

Just write.

You were expecting some formula? You were expecting some magic trick?

Nope. There is none that I can recommend.

Since childhood we have been conditioned to find motivation in some other things and we are forced not to take action unless some other event triggers it.

Your writers block is nothing but that event which avoids you from taking the action. You have to push yourself out of that block. And you have to write, no matter how small it is. Do it regularly.

Write small. Write regularly.

You have to avoid aiming for 10k words the moment you start to take action. Start with 124 character tweet. You can use noise.cash instead of twitter to write those messages.

Once you are comfortable with the 124 characters. Move to 100 words.

Write small content. Write effective sentences.

Write them daily, every hour if you can.

This habit once formed would make you better at copywriting and the clickbait headlines too. Just make sure to keep finding the punch within your titles and the headlines in general.

Words Add Up

Once you start with the daily habit of 100 words. The habit adds the words up.

So today you managed to write 100 words for 2 weeks. Later you add more.

This happens without you noticing. So don't count words once you slowly add up.

You may feel like writing more than 500 words once your flow gets in. You just have to avoid thinking about word count. And then keep adding content as you can. Your slumber or procrastination days will thank you for writing additional content as you do in flow.

Only solution to maintain the flow of anything is to do it consistently

Where to go from here?

If you are still trying to find motivation, then best option is go to noise.cash and start writing 124 character message.

You can also try HIVE or STEEMIT to do the same.

Start small. Then write effective sentences.

Move slowly to higher word count as your flow comes in.

Try this and then come back to me here with your experience.

Just start. Write 100 words a day.
