Dear Parents
I know that you parents may have different ways of raising your children but I hope you consider these suggestions too. If you are trying to discipline your children do it in private. Make them realize that they've done something wrong but don't do it when other people are watching, please do it in private. They may be your children and you have all the right to discipline them, but they also have a sense of shame. Don't embarass them in front of other people. Don't compare your child to someone else' child. Being compared to others is the worst and most awful feeling ever. Comparing won't do good, it will only make your child lose confidence and self esteem. If you want your children to do better, teach and train them instead of comparing them to others. If your child has an achievement make them feel that you are happy for them. Be contented of what they've achieved instead of making them feel that what they've done isn't enough. They may have done the best they could and lack of appreciation will only bring heartaches. Your simple appreciation means so much to children. It may serve as a motivation. Your child's attitude depends on how you train them and how you treat them. Don't expect your child to be like someone else's son or daughter when you didn't even make the effort to be a better parent. Teach your child to be independent by letting them do things on their own. Don't be afraid to leave them doing task alone. Let them make mistakes, as making mistakes is a common thing to children. And those mistakes will teach them valuable lessons in life. Discipline doesn't always mean spanking or beating up your child *(Though not all parents are doing this way of disciplining*) Please teach your child a lesson in a loving way. Not hurting them physically and emotionally *(though it is really required at times, but do it in the most appropiate situation only)* Sincerely, ***Daughter***

I ❤ my parents.
Sanaol na lang hehe
I hope your parents will read this.
If I can only make them read this. But probably they won't listen 😏
All are correct :) Discipline your children privately. Dont shout at them and dont say a bad words to them. Dont hit them anywhere. Walang maitutulong pramis Dont compare yourself to other because they might think that they are worthless. Lalo lang sila manliliit sa sarili nila at hindi na iisipin na mangarap If your child has an achievement make them feel that youre happy for them because it is so hurtful when your parents dont have any care with your achievements :( Your simple actions is important, kahit yung simpleng paglalagay lang ng bimpo sa likod o kaya pagtatali ng buhok mo :( Your childs attitude is depends on how you train them.
Haha Ang haba means binasa mo talaga yung buong article. Salamat. And I agree with everything you said. Our parents probably failed to do all of these but it may serve as a lesson for us (future parents 😅) na wag nang gayahin yung negative nilang nagawa and be better parents 🧡
Yes! I am interested kasi 😅 Yung iba kasi porket hindi naging mabuti yung parents nila sa kanila e napapasa din nila yun sa naging pamilya nila.
Tama. Yung iba they build hatred towards their parents dahil sa hindi tamang 'pagpapalaki' or pagdisiplina pero madalas, unconsciously yun din ang ginagawa nila sa anak nila 😢
Yeah. I witnessed that, tapos nakadalawang generation na sila sa ganong style of raising thier children.
There is actually a theory about parenting and its effects called Psychosocial Theory by Erik Erikson. It emphasizes how a child develops a specific behavior based on his/her experiences from childhood up to the old age.
You are right about that. This article is inspired of that theory.
Yeah, i hope sooo too dear❤ if they cant make things right then we, as a future parent must do the right thing for our children
Absolutely! We can make our children experience the things we didn't get to experience. And we can also make things right by not imitating the negatives from our own parents.
But let us not build hate towards them. I know that they want whats best for us. And they are not perfect just like other. Lets just be the start to correct all the wrong actions theyve done❤
Absolutely! 🧡
The above suggestions are indeed important, i hope parents will also listen in their child's opinion because both perspective matters.
>parents will also listen in their child's opinion because both perspective matters I agree with you on this. Parents should also hear what their children's opinion and never take it as a way of disrespecting them. They'll understand their children better if they will listen.
Yes i hope we become a parent like this in the future:)
I hope so too 💕
All the points here are good. I hope parents who are able to read this will apply this to their kids. I understand that it is difficult to raise a child. Remember parents that the attitude and character of your child could be a reflection of who you are.
>the attitude and character of your child could be a reflection of who you are Parents should indeed keep this in mind.
You're definitely right. Being a parent is a hard work. There's no perfect parents, parents made mistakes too but parents can always be good parents. What you've wrote above says it all. 🖤
