**Long post ahead. π I shared here before that I'm saving some 5, 10, 20 peso coins and some paper bills for my kids. I put them separately to their respective coin banks. But today, we decided to open their coin banks, it wasn't our intention but here's the reason why. My eldest confessed that he was putting 1 peso coin on his and brother's coin bank. He said every time he saw 1 peso coin on the table or anywhere in the house he put it inside the coin bank either on his coin bank or his brother's. Since I am doing an eloading business at home, I sometimes forgot to put the payments in my purse and just left them unattended on the table. As we open the coin banks, we were surprised to see a lot of 1 peso coins. π We collect only the 1peso coins and just keep the other coins and bills inside their coin banks. We collected 143 peso coins from my eldest's coin bank and 141 peso coins from my secondborn's. I'm just glad my boy knows how to be thrifty and save money starting at a young age. Glad he didn't play with my coins instead he kept them and shared some with his brother too. βΊ They both wanted to buy a Christmas gift from their 1 peso coins. But I have to repay the coins we collected from their coin banks too. π
