Why feeling sad is actually good?
Sadness is a reasonable and useful emotion. It helps us to determine our vulnerabilities, on how we need to treat ourselves, and also as to how we want to be treated by others.
You don’t have to be positive all the time. If you feel sad, that's your chance to explore your feelings and find out what you need. You may need to have time to yourself, have a short talk to a close friend or to work through your feelings and completely accept them.
Sadness can actually help us to be strong, active and courageous in the face of life's difficulties and misfortunes.
The only way to eliminate the pain we are facing, is to feel it and process it, then that's how sadness will let us move forward.
Keep in mind that sadness isn't a weakness. There's strength in your vulnerability. Being honest about your emotions are things you you must be proud of because some people push away the uncomfortable feelings.
You should always remember we are just humans, we commit errors, mistakes and may feel disappointments and sadness in our lives.
No matter what kind of sadness you've experienced or experiencing, you may not know this but it allows us to recognize and value the contrast between feeling happy and sad.
