I cooked sinigang na baboy for today's cuisine. . . sakto pang dumating ung pamilya ng diko ni wife. . . they bring along chooks, calamares at tokneneng na balut. . . enjoy ang tanghalian, well d nga lang complete dahil wala ung older brother ni wife. . .
Yesterday I was about to tell the story of a successful project that I did in relation to my current work. . . . . Yes, I am truly proud of this project, because it was featured in an international AV Magazine. . . Though my name was not mentioned, the company that I work for was included in the news. . . Kakaiba ung pakiramdam na alam mong ikaw ung may gawa nung project na un and maganda ung naging feedback nung client. . .
So panu ba nagsimula at natapos ung project na un. . . Well it was my ninang's (she's also my coworker that time) client in Pampanga, and a dear friend of hers. . . simple inquiry lang muna dahil wala pang idea ung friend nya about the company. . . so we went to their site (it's more like a appliance store building) and met with him. . . then from there binanggit na samin na ung building ay gagawing hotel. . . . so we started out discussing what will be included in the hotel (restaurants, amenities, rooms etc) and what can our company could offer. . . So we presented to him that we're doing the AV design and installation. . . so inisa-isa namin kung anu ung pwedeng gamitin sa ganito, sa ganyan. . . . . actually hindi lang isang presentation ginawa namin, we even have to face the owner of the building and explain to him the possible solutions that we could offer. . . . . then when we got back to office (plans were already provided to us), we started out doing the design. . . .
Hindi naging madali ang process of designing, since we have to consider the budget of the client, while assuring the quality of the system. . . . Kasi most of the projects that I designed, malaking issue ang budget. . . . . so kahit na pasok sa kelangan nila ung nagawang design pero kung d kaya ng budget, hindi nacoconsider. . . sayang ung time and effort. . . . Kaya nga minsan, sa umpisa palang ng meeting, kung pwedeng sabihin na ni client ung budget, mas maganda para maayon ung design sa budget. . .
So after several revisions and calculations, we already came up with the system na pasok na pasok sa budget, and still providing the quality of service ng system. . . . We went back to the client, did a detailed presentation of the design, from the system flow, system layout, budget and terms. . . . . . Well it took a while bago magdecide ang management kung i-go na ung proposal. . . . so we have to wait and do follow-ups to them. . . .
And after a couple of months of waiting, they finally decided to go with the proposal. . . wow imagine ang saya ni ninang dahil it's one of her biggest projects. . . . .and for me, very proud na inadopt nila ung design ko. . . then the rest is history. . .
Until now wala pang problem ung design na ginawa ko, kahit matagal nakong umalis dun sa company. . . and I'm proud to say na, "Akin ang project na un. Ako ang nagdesign ng system nila."
Right now, I'm again on this stage na may ginagawa ulit na design for a bigger project, and hopefully, makuha namin ito. . . If this happens, I promise myself that I'll be starting my own company together with my former colleagues. . . And will help my mom to start her own business. . . So this is it for know. . . Will take a rest na muna at maaga pa tomorrow for the reporting. . . . Babush!!!!
