Marriage is a long-cherished dream for every girl. She starts to dream a sweet dream about marriage from the very beginning of her puberty.But not all the fantasies get actualized owing to some deep rooted mindsets of the people of our country. Please don't take my post as a general one. I know many of us are passing their conjugal lives so happily with in-laws. But in most cases we can hear and see the sad stories behind every apparently happy family.I have seen so many marriages fall apart due to lack of mutual trust and 'the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence' attitude.Extramarital affairs and intense inclination to taste new things contribute to fan the flames too.Moreover wife beating over the demand for dowry is nothing new in indian- subcontinent's culture.There are other issues too.

A bride has to leave all of her known relatives and surroundings unlike a bridegroom in order to make another family of her own.She has to do much struggles to adjust with her newfound environment. But in this case a bride feels so easy and comfortable with his ever known faces.He is always treated so punctiliously in his in-law house but ironically a woman sometimes feels so alienated and distant in her husband’s house.It's not that she wants to be considered in every decision making process of her in-law's family. All she seeks is her consort's love, care and support.She expects her concomitant will take all the responsibilities to protect her from any sort of dishonors and catcalling.Her vulnerable heart always wants to take refuge in the arms of her husband.

If we want our own daughters and sisters to be treated so nicely in their in-law's house then we should create such an amicable environment for our wives too and if this happens i hope one day wife vs mother-in-law fight in every family will vanish from our culture and we will be living a so happy lives together ever after and most importantly the dreams and longings a newlywed wife harbour in her heart will remain evergreen for ages and her world will be sunshine....❤🌹
