With so much discussion about the IFP by BCH supporters, Séchet said the IFP became an issue due to the repeated requests from the Chinese community and this has been taking place for well over 2 years now.
It is revealed that the Chinese want an infrastructure protocol which isn't a debatable issue in China but it is very much debatable in the western hemisphere.
Séchet further stated that miners do not have any intention whatsoever to cause a damage to BCH as right now they are seeing a contention.
This makes him think BCH miners are just waiting patiently to see the outcome and also expect alternative solution from the community if in the end, the IFP becomes contentious.
