Blockchain games are becoming increasingly popular spaces, attracting not only investors but also hundreds of thousands of people seeking financial independence, and one of those games is My DeFi Pet.
What is My DeFi Pet?
My DeFi Pet is a blockchain game that began its development operations in May 2021 and has been designed to work on an interoperable and decentralized blockchain platform called KardiaChain. This development was possible thanks to the work of TopeBox, a well-known game developer in the region.
KardiaChain is an interesting blockchain project that is capable of uniting the Ethereum, Polkadot, Binance Smart Chain ecosystem in the same space. This allows you to develop applications that can be used and interacted transparently and with full support.
The idea behind My DeFi Pet is to unite traditional gaming experiences with the world of DeFi and NFT collectibles, within an ecosystem of monsters that go head to head in battles to claim prizes for their victory. This puts My DeFi Pet in the same game dynamic as Axie Infinity, Crypto Zoon among others.
What is the token (DPET)?
The DPET token is the native token of the My DeFi Pet gaming platform, whose main smart contracts are deployed on KardiaChain and Binance Smart Chain. This token is of the utility token type (under the ERC-20 standard) and has an issue limited to 100,000,000 tokens.
The idea of DPET tokens is that these are the currency of use within the platform to allow you to buy new eggs, breed and evolve your pets. In addition, you can use these tokens to enter special events within the platform, these being one of its main attractions.
An additional point of great utility within My DeFi Pet is that the DPET tokens are used to participate in the governance of the game. In this way, players can decide on new features or changes in the dynamics of the game, to maintain the good health of the game. To participate in governance, holders must lock their DPET tokens and in exchange they will receive PHP tokens, with which they can exercise their right to governance. Initial and monster dynamics
The gameplay of My DeFi Pet is similar to that of Axie Infinity or games like Pokemon. In any case, you start the game by buying an egg or an adult monster that you can put into battle quickly. That said, when you create an egg you generate a monster with unique qualities, such as:
Color
Profile
Type
Aura
Mutation
Rarity
HP, MANA, ATK, DEF, INT, CRIT levels, among others.
As in Axie Infinity, you will be able to reproduce your monsters in order to create new generations that mix the genes of their parents, to create a monster with unique qualities. These monsters can be put on the marketplace in order to obtain DPET tokens that you can use freely.
The monsters also have an evolution system that allows access to new levels in their abilities, strengthening them. The evolution rise is given by the experience accumulated during the battles of your monster, so the more battles, the faster the evolution will be.
KardiaChain's cross-chain technology in My DeFi Pet
As mentioned at the beginning, My DeFi Pet is a game developed on KardiaChain technology, which allows creating cross-chain environments compatible with Ethereum, Polkadot, Binance Smart Chain and native to KardiaChain. This is possible thanks to KardiaChain's non-invasive interoperability technology, which allows all these chains to be interconnected to create a unified Dapps ecosystem.
How to make money on My DeFi Pet?
So far, our experience using the My DeFi Pet DApp has been quite disappointing, the early stage of development of the app tells us that there is still a lot of work to be done before the app can be seen as something usable. However, this does not exempt the economic reality of your token which is available within various DEX or CEX.
In this case, exchanges such as KuCoin, Gate.io, BKEX and XT.com already offer access to markets with little liquidity for this token. However, the largest exchange is PancakeSwap, where liquidity exceeds $9 million, and where it is much easier to trade the DPET token.
