It was a rainy afternoon today and I decided to cook some soup. It is delicious as well as flavourful. This is suppose to include Patola or sponge gourd but it's not available so I just used what is available in the kitchen. This will already serve as our dinner tonight.

So let's start.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilograms of pork minced

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 medium size onion

  • 1 pork knorr cubes

  • 5 misua

  • Sponge gourd but optional

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure

  1. Cut pork in small pieces and wash with water.

  2. In a caserole, put 1 and 1/2 liters of water. Put the pork and bring to a boil.

  3. Once it's boiling add the garlic, onion and pepper.

  4. Add the knorr cubes and stir.

  5. Add the sponge gourd if available and let it boil until the meat are soft and tender.

  6. Add the misua and add salt. Simmer for 5 minutes and it's done.

Bon appetit! Enjoy dinner!
